CHAPTER- SIXTEEN

Sara was getting ready in the morning when Zayyan entered the room.

Seeing him Sara smiled and went back to getting ready.

Zayyan headed straight to the bathroom to take a shower.

Watching him leave, Sara muttered to herself, "Now how do I make him laugh? He's way too serious."

Shaking off her thoughts she continued getting ready. Once done she sat on the sofa waiting for him to come out.

After a while Zayyan came out fully dressed. He was wearing green pants and a black T-shirt that highlighted his perfectly muscular body. Sara's eyes drifted to his biceps, which were distracting her thoughts.

As Zayyan stepped out, he spoke in a cold tone, "Chalein?"

Sara snapped out of her thoughts got up and walked up to him saying, "Aap itne handsome ban kar chalenge to sab ladkiyaan airport pe aapko hi ghurengi zayyan."

Hearing her Zayyan couldn't help but smile and replied, "to aap rahengi na sath mere to koi ladki ghuregi hi nhi hai."

Sara retorted, "aagar koi ladki ghuri to wahi mai uski aankhein noch lungi."

Zayyan laughed and said, "Meri biwi strong hai matlab?"

Proudly Sara responded, "Apko kya lagta hai mai bachhi hun mai koi bachhi nhi hun !"

Zayyan bent slightly toward her and said, "Chalein aj ye baat clear karke mera kam asan kar diya aap ne thank you Mrs. Khan"

Realizing his teasing Sara replied, "Are mera wo matlab nhi tha jo aap samajhe!"

With a smile Zayyan answered, "Chalein aap baat ko badlein nhi mai sab samajh gaya hun"

Sara insisted, "Lekin sachhii mera wo matlab nhi tha zayyan, aap galat samjhe hai"

Leaning closer Zayyan whispered in her ear, "Mai janta hun ki aap kya matlab tha koi nhi Mrs. Khan Mai ye baat ko bhulunga nhi don't worry jana"

Sara gave him a playful push and said, "Chalein hum!"

Stepping back Zayyan laughed and said, "Haan chalein Mai to ab tayar hun jane ke liye" winking as he spoke.

Sara shook her head in disbelief and went downstairs with him for breakfast.

Everyone was seated together at the dining table, having breakfast.

Zainab Begum asked, "Beta, have you made all the preparations for the trip?"

Sara replied, "Yes Ammi, everything is ready."

Daniyal teased, "Bhabhi enjoy karna bhai ki company wahan"

Sara lowered her gaze shyly while Zayyan interjected, "Tumhe ye baat kehne ki jarurat nhi hai daniyal."

Daniyal laughed and said, "Mujhe laga hai jrurt hai bhai isliye keh diya, aap bhi enjoy karna!"

In a matter of fact tone, Zayyan replied, "haan to wahan hum enjoy karne hi ja rahe hai for your kind of information"

Hearing her husband's response, Sara was so startled that the morsel she was eating got stuck in her throat.

Noticing this Zayyan began patting her back gently and handed her a glass of water saying, "Mrs. Khan, eat slowly."

Everyone at the dining table smiled watching the interaction between the two.

Amaira commented, "Aww, these lovebirds look so adorable!"
