𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 to me, stopping himself from practically running into the wall.

"Diego!"

"Just me, sorry to disappoint." I responded, dusting myself off.

"Y/N? How did you get here?" Five asked, grabbing my arms lightly with a shocked expression.

"I tripped on a rock and fell through the ground. Kinda lame." I joked.

"I don't understand."

"Me either. Let's go check this shit out." I grabbed his hand and pulled us through the turnstiles.

We walked down the steps to what looked like any regular train station, until the PA had some strange backwards language, and any writing was replaced by symbols.

A train arrived just as we made it to the edge of the platform.

He shot me a hesitant look as the cars rolled to a stop.

"Don't be a pussy. Let's go!" I smiled, pulling him inside.

We got on, listening to the warped voice once again, and waited for our stop.

I sat across from where he stood, taking in all his features.

"Now isn't the time to be infatuated with me." he said monotone.

"I'm always infatuated with you, so shut your face." I rolled my eyes, sitting back into the seat.

He sat down next to me, resting his hand on my thigh.

After what felt like only a minute or two, our train stopped at another station.

He held me back as he stepped out to look for threats, tilting his head for me to come forward after a moment.

We went back up the stairs, looking around to see the town we were just at, just no gunfire this time.

"Okay, to be fair, this is what I was talking about when I said I liked the quiet town vibe." I muttered defensively, following behind him as he ventured out more.

"Where is everyone?" he whispered.

I looked around to see no other Hargreeves', just pure normal.

"Well look, it's the same day." I added.

"Same time."

"Different timeline." we said together, it clicking for us at the same time.

We ran back into the station that instant, freaked out, and also needing to go help with the normal timeline's whole murderous-townsfolk situation.

We ran back to the train, looking at each other because we didn't have the words.

"Wait, how are you supposed to get back?" he questioned

"Shit." I breathed, trying to figure it out for myself.

"I um, have an idea. Just go!" I pushed him, kick-starting his blink knowing he wouldn't leave me.
