*TW: TALK OF SEXUAL ACTS*

****************

Harper had always thought she knew everything about Griffin. Griffin Campbell was her best friend, since he had moved to Sulphur Springs in eighth grade. They were now going into their senior year of high school, and living out the last couple weeks of their summer.

But apparently, there was something about Griffin that Harper didn't know. Griffin had been gone since the early morning, but Zoey walked into Harper's room in the Tremont and held up a pretty dress and a pair of shoes. High heeled cowboy boots to be exact.

Zoey on the other hand was all dressed up in a pair of ripped jean shorts, a brown leather tank top, her own pair of brown cowboy boots, and a brown cowboy hat.

"What's all this for?" Harper asked, looking up from her phone.

"Its a surprise. Here, put this on." Zoey said, handing the girl the outfit.

Harper shrugged as Zoey waited outside the room. She tore off her crop top and sweatpants, putting on the white, sleeveless dress, and the white cowboy boots. She put in some gold jewelry just to finish the look and met Zoey outside the room.

"You look so cute! Now come on, we gotta go." Zoey exclaimed.

"Gotta go? Gotta go where?" Harper asked.

"To the Sulphur Springs fairgrounds." Zoey said. Harper shrugged and followed Zoey to Sarah's car. They climbed in and Sarah drove them.

"Are you excited, Harper?" Sarah asked.

"I don't know what to be excited for. Zoey won't tell me what we're doing." Harper chuckled.

"It's a surprise, mom!" Zoey exclaimed.

"I thought it was a surprise for your brother." Sarah asked.

"It is for him too! He has no idea she's coming, and she has no idea what she's going to see." Zoey laughed. Sarah chuckled.

"Well, okay, we're almost there, have fun, make good choices, and tell your brother to be safe." Sarah explained.

"We will, mom." Zoey said. Harper nodded in agreement.

As they pulled up to the fairgrounds, Harper looked at the sign out front.

"Sulphur Springs Rodeo?" She read aloud.

"Yep!" Zoey exclaimed, popping the p.

"I've been here before. It's really fun." Harper smiled.

"Yeah, but have you ever seen Griffin here?" Zoey smirked. Harper cocked her head.

"Does he ride?" Harper asked, intrigued. Zoey just smiled.

The girls got out of the car and walked towards the entrance. They paid for their wristbands and walked inside. Zoey put her phone in her pocket.

"Alright, I texted Griff. He should be meeting us here in a few minutes. He doesn't know you're here though, so." Zoey smiled.

"Why didn't you tell him?" Harper asked with a smile.

"Because we wanted to surprise him too." Zoey chuckled.

A few minutes later, Harper saw the boy looking around, probably for Zoey. Harper's heart immediately started beating a little faster. She never thought she's be into that kinda thing, but seeing Griffin dressed like a cowboy, she could barely think straight. She never thought she'd think of her best friend as hot, but here she was.
