Harper smiled to herself as she sat on her bed looking out the window into the dark, fall night. The cool breeze whistled through the window, the crickets chirping completely audible. Her LED lights were set on a deep purple and she sighed happily as she listened to the running water of the shower across the hallway.

She could hear Topher gaming in the room next door and she could hear her mother's favorite reality show playing in the background downstairs. She smoothed out her pink and black plaid pants and fixed her black long sleeved crop top. She threw her hair into a messy bun as she heard the water shut off across the hallway.

She internally squealed. This was her first sleepover with Griffin since they'd started dating. Previously, they'd been best friends, so of course they'd had sleepovers, but they'd never shared a bed, never snuggled, never done couple-y things.

Only minutes later, the boyfriend in question, Griffin Campbell, stepped into the purple lit room. Her heart fluttered. His long, damp, blonde hair hung in his face, desperately in need of a trim, the grey sweatpants hugged his muscular legs perfectly, and Harper could see the outline of his abs through his black compression tee shirt. His hazelish eyes were soft and he tossed the fluffy grey towel into her laundry hamper. She smiled, sitting straight up on her bed.

"There he is." She smiled.

"Hey, Harp. Whatcha up to?" Griffin smiled genuinely, his dimples appearing with his awed look.

"Just waiting for you. How was your shower?" She asked sweetly. He nodded.

"It was good. How are you doing?" Griffin asked gently.

"Good. I'm really excited to sleep with you for the first time." Harper smiled. Griffin went beet red and began stuttering slightly.

"Oh, well, um, I-...." He gulped. Harper stopped him quickly.

"No, relax. I meant actually sleep. I promise you. I have no intentions, okay?" Harper assured him. She loved him and he loved her. But Harper definitely wore the pants in the relationship. Griffin was usually pretty anxious about new stuff and he was definitely more shy.

Harper was his first everything. Relationship, kiss, hickey, you name it. But for Harper, Griffin was her first nothing. Harper took everything slow, for him. She always said that everything went at Griffin's pace and nothing more.

"S-sorry." Griffin stuttered out of embarrassment, looking at the floor. Harper looked at his flushed face and laid down in the bed, making room for the shy boy that stood in the middle of her floor.

"Come here, I don't bite." Harper teased. Griffin smiled lightly and wandered over to her bed.

"I'm no so sure about that." Griffin joked lightly. She chuckled.

"You ready to get some sleep?" Harper asked quietly. He nodded and climbed into the bed. He laid on the opposite side of the girl's large bed and laid on his back, looking up at the ceiling. "There he is. Hi, baby."

Griffin blushed and smiled at the girl as she pushed his hair out of his eyes.

"I love it when you get all flustered." Harper smiled, locking her brown eyes with his own hazel ones. Griffin playfully rolled his eyes, looking away, willing his blush to go away. "Hey, Griff. We know each other. It's me. Its not like its our first sleepover."

"I know, its just...expectations and stuff." Griffin shrugged, not meeting her gaze.

"Hey, look at me." Harper said gently. Griffin looked over her shoulder. "In my eyes."

Griffin sighed and met her eyes nervously.

"Omg, you didn't turn to stone." Harper joked and Griffin chuckled, his dimples appearing. "Ooh, a laugh, we're getting somewhere."

They laughed together before Griffin scooted closer.

"I wanna cuddle." He pouted playfully. Harper's eyes widened.

"Really, because that goes against everything your body language is telling me. You wanna cuddle, you gotta get a little closer, that's how that works." She teased playfully. Griffin chuckled and moved in close to the girl, adoration shining in his hazel eyes as he looked at her gorgeous face.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, snuggling into his warm, athletic body. He wrapped his arms around her waist and buried his head in her neck, his eyes fluttering shut comfortably.

"You smell good." Harper mumbled sleepily. Griffin chuckled.

"I would hope so, I literally just got out of the shower." He teased. She playfully rolled her eyes. As they laid next to each other, bodies pressed up together, Griffin started leaning in. Harper's eyes widened slightly before feeling his warm lips on hers, her eyes fluttering shut as she melted into the kiss.

"For the record, you kissed me." Harper mumbled against his lips. He chuckled lightly as they continued to kiss.

Griffin brought his tongue to her lips.

"There he is." Harper whispered onto his lips, opening her mouth lightly, her tongue darting out to meet his. They broke apart, not long after, Harper smiling at the boy. Griffin's eyes were darker now, full of desire, but a glimmer of nerves still shone through.

"I love you." Griffin murmured to the girl. Harper smiled at him.

"I love you too." She said adoringly. Griffin connected their lips again, this time instead of slow and steady, he smashed his lips onto her, Harper letting out a surprised moan against his lips. "Someone's bold tonight."

Harper draped her leg over Griffin's and pulled him into another lustful kiss. Their tongues danced together and next thing you know, Harper was straddling the boy, who broke the kiss nervously.

"This okay?" Harper asked nervously and softly. Griffin nodded. "You sure? You looked scared."

"I wanna keep going." Griffin assured, setting his hands on her hips. She smiled and nodded, leaning down and connecting their lips once more. Their lips moved together like puzzle pieces, a perfect fit for each other.

Harper ran her fingers through his hair and he let out a groan of pleasure. Harper pulled back with a smirk.

"Wow." Was all she said. Griffin blushed and looked away.

"Quit it." He warned. She chuckled.

"I'd love to hear more of that." She flirted, leaning back down to kiss him again, not giving him time to answer.

*************

After one spicy makeout session, Griffin and Harper snuggled up on the bed, comfy under blankets and fell asleep, listening to the sounds of nature outside Harper's window, both of them just happy to be next to one another.

Happy to be able to love one another.
