Two Weeks Later.

Everything had changed drastically at the Towers once Bucky had returned to Steve. He hadn't been much use in Pietro's opinion, as he was not able to add to the research already gathered by Wanda.

From the moment it became apparent that Arrabella and Bucky shared so kind of romantic history together, it was fair to say that both Pietro and Steve had become rather possessive of their other half.

Of course their fears were ridiculuous and uncalled for. Now that Bucky actually remembered who Steve was (and how involved they had been), there was no way the ex-assassin would leave the patriot's side, let alone love another. Bucky loved Steve. And despite Arrabella once being the Winter Soldier's lover, she no longer possessed any feelings for him. They had disappeared a long time ago, due to the continuous wiping of her memory. She had Pietro, whom she was undeniably in love with.

Still, Quicksilver and Captain America couldn't help but feel how they felt. They were only super-enhanced humans afterall.

Bruce had finally been able to determine what was wrong with Arrabella, although he wished that it could have been simpler.

But more about that later.

Pietro was currently sat with Arrabella in her assigned medical bay/room. He had vowed to her that once she was allowed to leave the clinical room, he would have Tony help decorate a bedroom for her in whatever colours and patterns she wanted. Wanda had smiled when she had caught her brother saying that and had later offered to help Arrabella with the designs. The fragile girl had agreed with a smile and a Hail HYDRA.

Yes, Arrabella was still unable to say anything other than those cursed words. The silver-haired male had prayed that Bruce could help fix whatever was inhibiting her speech, he longed for her to whisper his name once again.

There had been a few improvements regarding Arrabella's current state
The first was that Clint and Natasha had been able to find something Arrabella could eat and not cause her to be sick. It would have seemed that the female had a healthy appetite for Japanese cuisine, something that the rest of the Avengers were all too happy to also consume. So Clint had been put on official cooking duty.

The second was that Pepper and Wanda had managed to help clean up Arrabella's appearance a bit and restore her natural hair colour, which was deep auburn. Pietro had instantly fallen in love with the colour. Arrabella had been unmistakingly beautiful before the restoration but now, she was blindingly stunning.

She was sitting beside him, reading a book the Tony had brought her, his own personal biography written by some ghost writer whom the male had hired. Who knew that Tony Stark possessed such a massive ego? Despite the groans and continuous apologies from Pepper, Arrabella actually read the book and was clearly enjoying it.

Pietro however, was playing with a strand her hair. It's dark colour a bright contrast against his pale skin. The male moved to place a kiss on her cheek.

She merely frowned. "Hail HYDRA?" Arrabella questioned, turning her head to face him.

He shrugged and smiled cheekily. "I just wanted to. I like kissing you."

The female grinned at this comment, leaning forward slightly and brushing her lips against his. He groaned, moving quickly to catch her lips once more, deepening the kiss.

Suddenly, the duo were now lying down. Pietro carefully pulled the female on top of him. Arrabella could feel his heartbeat beneath her palm, it was beating as quickly as hers.

In the distance, a clash of thunder reverbarated across the sky. Whilst lying on her lover, Arrabella gazed up at the ceiling. She felt Pietro's right hand entwine with her left. "Thor's up." he joked, trying to lighten the mood when really, Arrabella was terrified of thunder and lightning. There were more clashes. Suddenly, the sky opened up and rain fell to the ground in fine sheets of rain, slamming against the window. Another clap of thunder, this time directly above. Just at the mere sound of it, Arrabella jolted against Pietro's safe embrace, clearly shaken to the core by the sound. She was shaking violently, saying as many prayers as she could think of, even in the safety of Stark Towers, she felt too exposed to the noise. It was so close. Pietro had an idea, he moved so that he was on top and Arrabella on the bed. He looked straight into her eyes, making her focus on him instead of the storm.

The was another clash, Arrabella felt a shiver run down her spine. "Hail HYDRA." she whispered, wishing she wasn't so afraid.

Pietro carefully brought his lips to hers, kissing her anxiety away. It was a tender gesture, full of love and emotion. He didn't want her to feel scared, he wanted to show Arrabella that there was nothing to be afraid of. He tangled his fingers through her auburn locks, tugging the ends ever so slightly. Arrabella snaked her arms around his waist and under the back of his t-shirt, beneath her touch, she felt his skin prinkle as she ran her fingers in circles on his skin. He began to make the embrace far more passionate.

Arrabella bit his lip in response, bring her hands up to rest on his firm, muscular chest. Slipping her fingers through his belt loops, she pulled him closer, smirking against his lips as she did.

"I love you." he said.

"Hail HYDRA."

Pietro held her so gently and kissed her so tenderly, Arrabella was glad that she was lying down, due to her knees feeling like jelly.

Pietro groaned in satisfaction as Arrabella planted tantilising kisses across his jaw, which was so chisled, it made Arrabella wish that she could take a photograph and keep it with her at all times.

Finally, they had to break away due to a pesky thing called oxygen. They were still in each others arms but instead they had their foreheads together, their now chapped lips inches apart. "Hail HYDRA." Arrabella whispered, catching her breath.

"I couldn't have my girl scared, could I?" he carefully placed a kiss on her forehead.
