Terry's POV:

I woke up early in the morning, before anyone else could. "Aren't you just perfect when you sleep?" I whispered to myself as I looked over to Claudia. I then carefully got up to go look for some food. Before I left to find some, I looked over to Aaravos, who laid uncomfortably on the ground. "Hmmm, you look so peaceful when you asleep." I once again whispered to myself.

"What are you doing?" Claudia asked sounding really tired. "Oh, I was just observing our new friend over here." I said with a soft smile. "Oh well! Off to find some food now!" I accidentally said loudly. Aaravos hissed in his sleep at me, like a cat or something, then curled up in a ball. "Oops. Sorry." I said a little quieter now.

"He's scary, even in his sleep." I said somewhat jokingly, before leaving.

I was walking around the forest for awhile, looking for anything to eat. I then stumbled across a huge bush, with a lot of berries. "This should work." I said to myself .

As I was harvesting the berries, I heard voices from a few feet behind the bush. I bearly looked over and saw two humens: Soren and Corvus. "Oh no." I whispered. I then left trying to be quiet. But I then stepped on a twig, getting there attention.

"What was that!?" Corvus asked on guard. "Probably just a squirrel, no need to pay it any attention." Soren said with a yawn. "But what if it's not." Corvus protested. "Fine, we'll check out the noise, but I'm sure it's nothing." Soren said sounding tired as well.

I quickly yet silently ran back to our camp, trying not to leave a trace.

"See, I told you. There's nothing here!" Soren said, sounding a bit disappointed.

Claudia's POV:

It's been about five minutes ever since Terry left. I know it hadn't been long, but I was starting worry. I looked over at Aaravos who was starting to shake a bit. "Odd, it's not even cold...is he okay?" I thought curiosity and a bit worried for him to now.

Terry then ran through the bushes, with a bunch of berries in hand. "I'm back!" Terry yelled excitedly. Aaravos woke up, lunging forward with a gasp. I stood up and made my way over to Aaravos, to make sure he was okay.

Aaravos POV:

I coughed slightly, trying to get a grasp of reality. "Are you okay?" I heard the Earthblood ask. "I-I'm f-fine." I stuttered. I took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. "It was just a bad dream." I said as I put on a fake smile. "Okay well, now that your awake you can have something to eat!" He said handing me some berries.

He and Claudia happily ate there bit, but I was hesitant. "How do I know these aren't tainted by poison or something?" I thought. "Is something wrong?" Claudia asked. I turned my gaze to her. "I know you've helped me so far...but how do I know these aren't tainted by poison?" I asked.

"Why would we do that? Isn't it impossible to kill you anyways?" Claudia said confused.

I sighed and hesitantly started eating. "There we go! That's the spirit! Your starting to trust us!" The Earthblood said overwhelmingly. The was an awkward tension in the air for a few moments.

"So when do we depart for Xadia?" I asked curiously. "Oh! As soon as we pack up, then we can leave!" Claudia said with a small chuckle. A soft smile appeared on my face. "Very well." I said.

We quickly finished our food and started packing up. "Let's get a move on, we don't want anyone finding us." I said softly. "There's a camp near by, we can just borrow their horses, without asking, for a few days, nothing more!" I said a bit to enthusiastically.

"How do you know that?" The Earthblood asked. "Why else were you so panicked when you came back? You saw some people, and there bound to have a camp set up near here, so, that's how I know." I said with a small chuckle. "Oh" the Earthblood said shocked,

After walking around for a few minutes we came across the human camp. The two humans: Soren and Corvus had just left for Duren, leaving simple guards in the camp. "Oh this is just too easy!" I thought as I let out a quiet chuckle.

I then walked right into the camp, and knocked the guards out with a simple spell. "A little to easy." I mumbled to myself with a sigh.

"Well? What are you two waiting for? Let's go!" I said as I got onto a horse. "Right! Right...of course!" The Earthblood said, trying to stay positive. I sighed and quickly left with the two as soon as they mounted a horse as well.

No one's POV:

On top of a hill out of sight Corvus and Soren watched as the three left. "I knew it." Corvus mumbled. "Send a crow to king Ezran! Tell him Claudia is heading to Xadia." Corvus said with a growl.

"Right away, sir Corvus! Hey! Is it just me, or dose that rhyme?" Soren said jokingly. Corvus simply rolled his eyes, and smiled a bit.

"No it doesn't rhyme." He chuckled softly. "Just send the crow." Corvus said softly.
