Aaravos POV:

It was early in the morning, very early. The sun hasn't even started to rise and I got up. What was that human saying? "The early bird gets the worm?" Or did I get that wrong? Eh, I don't care.

I started walking around my house a bit. I haven't been here in three hundred years. I looked in my old library and noticed it was wrecked. I sighed out of disappointment. This use to be a place of such joy, but ever since Leola died, I only see death and despair. I sighed once again and started to organize the room.

Once I was finished with the room, I went to the kitchen and started to make something to eat. I don't know why I was doing all this work. It's not like I'm going to stay here...at least not anytime soon.

I started to make-I think Claudia called them-pancakes. "Should I make some for them? I guess so, I wouldn't want to be rude." I thought curiously.

After I made the breakfast meal, I swiftly crept up stairs, to the room Terry and Claudia resided. I observed them as they rested on a spare bed. "Wake up." I hissed out of the blue, making the Earthblood jump. Claudia slowly rose and was still visibly tired as well as confused.

"What? What's wrong?" Claudia asked as she rubbed her eyes. "Nothing...I made breakfast." I said hesitantly. The two stayed silent for a moment. "Oh, I guess that's nice." The Earthblood said with a small smile. "I guess." I thought as slightly glared at him. "Just thought I'd tell you two." I mumbled. The Earthblood's ears perked down a bit.

I quietly huffed and left the room.

I then re-entered the library, now looking around for something. "What are looking for?" The Earthblood asked. "You wouldn't be able to help even if I told you." I said with a hiss, well my back was facing him. "Oh...okay." He said with a disappointed sigh.

"By the stars. Don't feel bad for him." I thought to myself as I continued looking. I sighed again.

"Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, I guess I've just been...tired?" I said the last part a bit confused, yet softly, putting my head on the shelf.

"Its...fine." He replied, but not as optimistic as all the other times.

I looked over to him, from the corner of my eyes. I then took a deep breath. "Why are you so nice to me?" I asked, curious to know why. "Haven't you heard all the "horrible" and "terrible" stories and tales about me?" I continued to ask.

"Well...they're just stories. I feel like everyone deserves a chance to explain themselves, and maybe even redeem themselves!" He responded with hints of optimism in his voice.

I turned to look at him. He gave me a soft, yet small smile.

It was silent for a moment. I turned back to the shelf, still contemplating what he said. "That's...a good...response. "I guess." I thought the last part.

He smile, happy he was able to somewhat "bound" with me.

"Ah ha! Here we go! Finally." I said out loud, but mumbling the last part to myself. I pulled a fake book, revealing a hidden wall. Out of it I garbed a staff-My staff.
