After I was officially accepted into Cobra Kai, I grew really close with Tommy, Dutch, Jimmy, and, of course, Bobby. They helped me with karate, and I helped them with schoolwork. Johnny wasn't exactly thrilled about me hanging out with them or even being near them, but I tried to ignore it. I had a feeling he was slowly warming up to me, though.

The Halloween dance was just a few days away, and I was excited. Back at my old school with Daniel, we never had events like this.

Things between Daniel and Ali were going great, and they were really cute together. Of course, Daniel hated that I spent time with his bullies, but he had to admit that they hadn't messed with him since the incident at the hill. I couldn't help but think they were laying off him because of me.

"Hey, Y/N! Come sit with us at lunch" Tommy called out, running up to me.

"I don't have anything better to do, so why not" I replied, following him. I ended up sitting between Bobby and Tommy.

"What's she doing here?" Johnny asked, clearly annoyed.

"Come on, Johnny, she's Cobra Kai now. Stop being like that" Bobby said, throwing an arm around my shoulders.

"Yeah, well, she's Daniel's sister" Johnny retorted, his tone sharp.

"Sorry my brother stole your girlfriend, but it's not my fault she doesn't like you. I mean, you're so charming," I shot back, my voice dripping with sarcasm.

Johnny kicked my leg under the table, making me yelp in pain. "I can be charming—just not to people I don't like" he smirked, staring at me with those infuriating eyes. I stare at him with fury.

"Alright, calm down" Bobby interjected. "Let's change the subject, okay? Who's excited for the Halloween dance, huh?"

The table buzzed with excitement as the topic shifted to the upcoming Halloween dance. Bobby leaned in closer to me, clearly interested in hearing my plans.

"So, have you decided on a costume yet?" Bobby asked with a grin.

I shrugged, "I'm still trying to figure it out. I might go as something simple, maybe a vampire or a witch."

He chuckled, As we laughed, I noticed Johnny's eyes narrowing at us from across the table. He wasn't even trying to hide his irritation anymore. It was as if the more I integrated into the group, the more it bothered him. But before I could dwell on it, Tommy interrupted my thoughts.

"You should totally come to the dance with us," Tommy suggested, his tone upbeat. "It'll be fun, and we could all go as a group."

I hesitated for a moment. " I don't know what will Daniel think?" I put my head in my hands.

"Oh come on if we promise we won't hurt him again will you come?" Dutch asked

"Promise?" I asked

"Promise" is what they say, except Johnny.

I finally agreed, smiling. "Let's do it."

"Awesome! It's gonna be legendary," Jimmy chimed in, already hyped.

As the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, everyone started gathering their things. Johnny stood up first, his gaze lingering on me for a moment before he turned to walk away. His demeanor was always hard to read, but I could tell something was brewing beneath the surface.

Bobby noticed Johnny's cold stare and leaned in close to me as we left the cafeteria. "Don't let him get to you, Y/N. He'll come around eventually."

I nodded, appreciating his support. "Yea don't know when that will be"

"Johnny's got his issues, but deep down, he's not all bad," Bobby reassured me. "You'll see."

As the last days went by I got even more exited for the dance.

The boys were really sweet and a lot of fun being around and I trusted them to not hurting Daniel again, I mean why would they? Everything was going great. At least that's what I thought-
