Finally, the dance was here. School was over, and I had helped Ali and her friends with the planning.

Once I got home, I put on my costume—a witch outfit. It was a black, tight dress paired with heavy black boots. I made my hair look voluminous and wild before applying dark, dramatic makeup. I admired myself in the mirror. I looked like a crazy witch, so it was perfect.

I had tried to convince Daniel to go to the dance for so long, but it didn't work—he didn't want to go.

I knocked on his door.

"You sure you want to stay here?" I asked again.

"Yeah, sorry, Y/N, but I hope you have fun. The outfit looks amazing!"

"Thank you" I smiled a bit before making my way out of the apartment.

Johnny and the boys were waiting in his car outside. When they saw me, they looked stunned.

"Wow, Y/N, you look..." Bobby started.

"Crazy?" I laughed.

I got into the back seat next to Dutch.

"I like the fit" he smirked, and I noticed Johnny giving him a death glare through the mirror.

Once we got to the dance, we split up for a moment when I saw Ali.

"Hey, you look amazing" I said as I walked up to her.

"Omg, Y/N, I can say the same about you" she giggled. "Thank you!"

"Where's Daniel?" she asked me.

"Oh, he didn't want to come, sorry."

"Wait. I think that's Daniel," she pointed at someone in a shower costume and laughed.

She went up to him, and they talked. I spotted Dutch and Tommy making out with someone, and the rest of the boys disappeared, so I told the girls I'd get a drink.

I choked on my drink from laughter when I saw Daniel with egg all over his face. He excused himself from Ali, and I watched him head to the bathroom. I turned my attention back to the girls, who were still laughing. But then I saw Daniel running out of the bathroom, with skeletons close behind him.

"What the hell?" I whispered to the girls. Ali tripped them, giving Daniel more time.

"That's it, I'm following them" I told Ali. She tried to stop me, but I was already gone, scared of what they might do to Daniel.

As I hopped over the fence, I saw them in the distance and quickened my pace when I saw them dragging Daniel down.

"JOHNNY, STOP IT!" I screamed. Some of them turned around but ignored me.

Johnny was punching Daniel, shoving him from one to another.

"Leave him alone, Johnny!" I yelled, pushing him away from Daniel.

He punched me right in the face as I fall to the ground. "what the hell man" I heard bobby yell. My right eye vision began to fill with black spots.

"This is none of your business, so get out" he said coldly to me before turning his attention back to Daniel.

This time, Bobby tried to stop him, but it didn't work. Dutch grabbed a hold of me, making it impossible to escape.

I watched in horror as Johnny punched Daniel again and again and again. My eyes begin to tear up. I had to do something. I kicked Dutch foot trowing my head back hitting his face as he let me go. I storm towards Johnny kicking him away from my brother. "what the hell is your problem Johnny?" I asked with tears in my eyes. I saw his face softer for a second but it quickly turned into anger again.

He stared at me and Dutch grabbed me again as Johnny switched his attention to my brother.

Just before Johnny could hit Daniel's face, I saw Mr. Miyagi. Everything that happened next was so fast—one moment they were trying to fight him, and the next, they were all on the ground.

I stared at him in shock, then quickly ran to Daniel.

"Come on, help me get the boy him inside" Mr. Miyagi said. I nodded, and we carried Daniel, laying him on the bed.

"Thank you" I said quietly.

"No need to thank" he smiled, handing me a cup of tea as we waited for Daniel to wake up.

"Is your eye okay?" he asked me and pointed at my face.

"yea I'm fine I'm just worried about Danny..."

What the hell was I thinking, trusting them? Johnny could have killed Daniel, and everyone except Bobby had hyped him up? I was so wrong about them. I was hurt...
