After spending five and a half hours in a police station, Rose has finally had enough. She is getting anxious because she's not sure when they'll finally let her leave. She's stuck at Havencrest PD due to an unfortunate break up with Zander, the love of her life for the last five years. What started as a normal night in watching a movie while eating Chinese food, ended in one of the most traumatizing ways possible. Zander and Rose got into a huge argument, which was nothing out of the blue. However, this time he became physical. After struggling for what seemed like hours, Rose finally managed to escape the life or death situation and called the police. The police in Havencrest were very slow when it came to responding to non-murder calls. Attempted murder and domestic disputes were on the bottom of their agenda, therefore it took them almost 30 minutes to finally arrive the three blocks from their station.
"Are you the one who called about a domestic incident?" asked a tall broody officer who had a high and tight.
"Yes sir," Rose responded, "I've... I've never seen him like that before..." she cried still shaken from the events.
The tall broody officer looked over to his partner, a short woman in her mid 40s, she nodded and took over the conversation with Rose in order to try soothing her.
"Ma'am where exactly did you escape from? We'll send over a few officers to take a look around and see if we can find the man who did this to you, but I'll need his description," the woman calmly explained to Rose. "What was his name?"
"Zander Sodas," Rose replied still shaken that he could do something so cruel.
"Okay, thank you," the officer jotted down the name, "what is his birthday? About how tall is he? Weight? His ethnicity? Hair and eye colors? I do apologize, I know this can be a lot at once, we just want to make sure you and others are safe out here."
Rose took a deep breath, "his birthday is 9/3/1993, I think he's about 164lbs and 6ft, he's biracial Puerto Rican and Caucasian, he has hazel eyes and dark brown hair."
"Okay, thank you, if you don't mind just have a seat over there on the curb and I'll be back in a few," the officer said before walking back over to her broody partner.
Rose sat there for roughly fifteen minutes before the officers came back to where she was sitting, they informed her that Zander wasn't found at the address she provided, but the other patrol officers would keep an eye out for him. They told her in the meantime, they'd need her to come down to the station to give a detective a detailed report on the events that occurred.
Rose spoke to a man named Detective Dee, and gave her full statement on the night starting from the time she got home from work. After writing down everything that was said Detective Dee told her to hang tight and they'd let her know when she could leave. By this point, 4 hours had gone by, she was beginning to get fidgety sitting there with no updates or anyone coming by. After 5.5 hours the detective finally returned and informed her they were still looking for Zander, but she was welcome to leave as long as she had somewhere safe to go.
Rose thanked the detective before heading out to the station parking lot where her Nissan sat. She climbed in and let out a long sigh. Where should I go she thought. However, there was only one place that came to mind for her....
