Later that day, you sat at the kitchen table, eating leftover spaghetti from the night before as you watched Five Hargreeves storm into the kitchen like a maniac. He was calm about searching the cabinets for coffee grounds at first, but the longer he didn't find any the more angry he got.
The pouring rain hitting the trees and pavement outside would've been a pleasant sound if it wasn't for Five's obnoxious digging through the cupboards. Reginald's funeral had also happened outside today but it wasn't like either of you cared enough.
Another bite of your food and a high Klaus stumbled into the kitchen, a whole ass guitar in hand as to took a seat.
Though the instrument was odd, it didn't seem like that big of deal because it was Klaus.
"Where's Vanya?" Allison asked as she walked in from the left side, holding a black coat.
"Oh, she's gone." Klaus replied.
"That's unfortunate." What you thought was as an expression of sympathy from Five to Allison turned out to be an annoying rant. "An entire square block. 43 bedrooms and 19 bathrooms, but not a single drop of coffee." He complained as he looked over a jar of something.
"Of course, you know how many bedrooms there are," You mumbled sarcastically, taking a sip of water. You didn't mean to be a negative Nancy every time he opened his mouth, it just happened. As if Five's existence himself just gave you the urge to be needlessly rude to him.
"Dad hated caffeine," Allison reminded her crazed coffee brother.
"Well," Klaus let out a laugh with false humor. "He hated children too, and he had plenty of us!"
Five sighed in disapproval as he watched, a realization of what he needed to do hitting him. "I'm taking the car," he announced.
"Where are you going?" His fourth brother wondered, straightening up.
Five gave him a look of disbelief as if the answer wasn't completely obvious. "To get a decent cup of coffee."
"Do you even know how to drive?" Allison questioned.
Which you let out a hum of agreement too. Even if he did, a child driving a car would grab attention, probably the police's.
"I know how to do everything." Losing his patience the teenage looking boy snapped at her before blinking away.
"I feel like we should try and stop him." Klaus stumbled up. "But then again, I also just kinda wanna see what happens."
His thought was interesting, but unfortunately you didn't have the luxury of sitting back and watching right now.
Putting your stuff in the sink you walked out of the kitchen and into the hallway. The second you were out of sight; you summoned your power and flicked your hand.
Time froze, hopefully it would make sure you got to the car before Five ever left.
"Here we go," you let out an apprehensive sigh. Whatever happened next was either going to go surprisingly well or, most likely, be an absolute shit show. This was you forcing yourself to keep moving forward. Find out Five's plan, report to the Handler, and finish your job at headquarters.
It had to be done. All these years could not have been for nothing.

The car door opened and slammed shut behind you as you hopped in as fast as possible, right before Five could even pull away.
A scowl appeared on his face as he gripped the steering wheel tight, not even bothering to look over to know it was you.
