The four pups began to drive off to their mission and hopefully successfully save the deer and get them back to their home safe and sound. Marshall was excited that he and Everest were on a mission together.
The two were opposites when it came to their jobs, thus they never were really together when they both went on missions, Marshall wanted to make the most of this mission.
It was still raining but it wasn't pouring down, just a light drizzle. Marshall was enjoying driving in this weather as raindrops fell softly on his fur. Jake's mountain was only a ten-minute drive for all the pups but it felt more like five minutes for the pups.
Maybe it was the rain, or maybe it was because it was Chase with Skye and Marshall with Everest, but who knows?
"C'mon pups we're almost there," Ryder shouted to the four.
The four quickly arrived at the scene where they saw Captain Turbot there with Francois, of course, the two were bird-watching and arguing when the four pups got there. The pups and Ryder were used to it by now.
"Oh thank goodness you and the pups are here Ryder, all of the deer are lost and we have no idea where they went," Captain Turbot explained to the five.
"Don't worry Captain, we'll find them, Skye we need you to take to the sky and find those deers. Chase get your drone and also help search for the deer as well," Ryder told the couple.
"On it Ryder," both pups say in unison.
Chase went to go and deploy his drone and set it off in the air to go find one of the three missing deer. Skye took her copter and went soaring through the air to see if she could find one of the three deer.
"Marshall and Everest, stay here and once Chase or Skye one of the deer we'll all go and help it," Ryder told them as Everest and Marshall just nodded in agreement. Soon enough Skye who was in the air spotted one of the deer... but wasn't in any danger.
"Ryder I found one of them," Skye said from above.
"Alright Skye we're on our way stay there," Ryder said as everyone began to rush to Skye's location.
Soon enough they all made it there and were able to help the deer. Which wasn't really hard for them since the deer was already not in any sort of danger.
"Well, that was easy...one down and two to go," Captain Turbot said.
"Ryder I found another one with my drone," Chase said as his tail began to wag.
"Great let's head over there right now," Everybody began to rush over to the next location where it seemed like the mother deer was.
So far they rescued the dad and hopefully now they were going to help the mother, now all that was left was the baby deer somewhere out here in the mountains. But for now, the pups and the three humans needed to focus on the momma deer.
This rescue wouldn't be a walk in the park like it was with the father deer. The mother deer was stuck... in a cave.
The cave was blocked off by some boulders, but the mother deer could barely be seen with a slight opening, and without hesitation, Ryder turned on his pup pad and had Rubble drive over to the cave so he could help with this mission. The other pups and the three humans waited for the bulldog to arrive.
This gave Marshall the perfect chance to talk to Everest alone.
"H-Hey Everest."
"Oh hey Marshall what's up?"
"I just wanted to... check on you...and see what's up?" Marshall said. Anybody who was smart and knew how to read body language could tell he was nervous.
