Marshall laid in his bed a little gloomy after coming to the realization that the pups with the exception of Chase were probably going to treat him differently because they found out that he is now in a worldwide competition.
'Maybe I'm just tired, probably best if I just go to sleep,' Marshall thought to himself as he closed his eyes and was about to go into a deep slumber.
Being a part of a worldwide competition would change your point of view to many people. The other pups knew that Marshall was great at his job but to be a part of a competition that only nine other dogs across the entire world got to be in.
They were stunned.
The next morning was a cloudy one, but Marshall loved the rain. Despite how it made dogs smell, Marshall loved the sound of rain, he loved to dance in it, and he loved to be a part of nature.
"Ruff megaphone, COME ON PUPS IT's TIME TO GET UP FOR BREAKFAST," The Shepherd yelled to the rest of the pups.
"YAY BREAKFAST," Rubbled screamed as he ran inside the lookout to collect his food.
"Morning love birds," Everest said as Duke was just now walking right behind her.
"Whatever Everest, don't be jealous," The Cockapoo fired back at her.
"I would never be, I'm happy for you guys, so-" Everest spoke but she was soon cut off by Duke.
"Hey man, do you really have to use that stupid megaphone every time you have to wake us up?" Duke asked in a harsh tone.
"I mean kinda, it takes a long time for me to go house from house to wake everyone up. I get the megaphone is annoying but you'll get used to it," Chase told the lab.
"Then how come this one gets to not be asleep when you use the megaphone," Duke said while pointing at the flying pup.
"Oh because she's my girlfriend and she sleeps with me. So whenever I wake up she always wakes up when I do."
"Huh," Duke said as he then began to race to his mind. He had no idea that Chase and Skye were together and he wanted to make sure that the next couple would be himself and Everest.
'Everest definitely likes me, there's no way anyone would reject me. I'm good-looking, strong, and no one else even compares to me.' Duke though.
"Hey, where's Marshall?" Rocky asked.
"I'll go check his pup house to see if he's still asleep," Chase said as he was now running to go check on the Dalmatian.
Marshall's pup house was on the other side of where Chase's was so he was walking for a while until he eventually reached the red pup house. The door was closed and Chase assumed that Marshall was still slumped in his cozy bed.
He gave two knocks but heard no response. He gave another two knocks but still, there was no response. "Marshall hey come on it's time to wake up, breakfast is waiting for you."
Still...no response. "That's it Marshall I'm coming in," the Shepherd said as he was about to bulge right through the door. Before he could he just simply pulled the door and surprisingly... the door wasn't even locked.
Marshall wasn't there however.
"What the, where the heck is he?"
He walked outside Marshall's pup house and began to scan the area, but as the Paw Patrol's luck goes...he couldn't find the dally. 'Oh...I know where he is' Chase thought as he began to head to this mystery location to find his best friend whom he considered his brother.
Chase ran, he ran as much as he could to find the dally, and soon enough he found Marshall under a tree lying down.
"Hey bud, what are you doing all the way outside of town?" Chase asked the Dalmatian.
