At the restaurant where they came to get food, Satoru and [Name] were sitting across from each other on one side of the table while Itadori, Megumi and Kugisaki were sitting beside them. After ordering their preferred dishes, the kids started conversing among themselves with Satoru chiming in a few times. [Name] didn't partake in their playful banter.

Satoru gently nudged her from her side. "Your bandages are dirty. You should take them off."

She firmly shook my head. "No. I'm not taking them off." Satoru was well aware of her scars and insecurities. He had known ever since he once burst into her room at night due to a dare by Suguru when they were first years.

"How'll you eat?"

"I'll figure it out, don't worry about me."

"You know I can't ever stop worrying about you." he said, voice soft. For a second he almost seemed serious and sincere.......... until he added a wink and grinned stupidly.

She sighed and rolled her eyes. Unbeknownst to her, Satoru kept on staring at her. He couldn't help but notice how much more at ease she looked now that there were no curses around. His eyes trailed over her, watching closely, every breath she took, every time her eyes shut to blink and opened back up to reveal her beautiful mismatched eyes.

The food arrived and the waiter set it on their table. They were eating at a local McDonald's.

They'd had stopped eating at KFC ever since that day. It always seemed to hold bad memories for them. It was a somewhat silent agreement between the two friends.

The students started digging in as did Satoru. [Name] simply watched them all. Nobara and Yuji were competing on who could eat fatser. Megumi was eating slowly. She then put a hand on her bandages and slightly adjusted them so that she could open my mouth without taking them off. She started eating the fries she had ordered since she knew a burger would require a big bite and would cause her to take my bandages off. They were the only thing that made her feel normal.

Seeing this, Yuji frowned at her. "Sensei? Why not just take them off?"

"I can't."

He shrugged, figuring it was probably related to her cursed technique, when it actually wasn't.

Now came the time to actually explore Tokyo. They were all walking along the street with the trio in front of us and Satoru and [Name] lagging behind. Yuji spotted a candy shop and started skipping towards it. The female tecaher noticed him straying and nudged Satoru, who, instead of stopping him, skipped behind him happily.

The woman sighed in annoyance and followed behind the two, calling out to Nobara and Megumi too.

"Megumi, Kugisaki! Come on, the man child wants candy." Nobara heartily chuckled at her words and followed behind her as Megumi also went in the store to glare at the shopkeeper.

The shopkeeper was a short and slim woman who was quite beautiful. Her grey eyes skimmed over everyone until they landed on Satoru and she started twirling a strand of her short black hair. She smiled sweetly at him as she forced her voice to become shrill and feminine.

"Hello there! How may I help you today?", she asked, leaning over the counter as she pushed her chest up to make it seem bigger.

[Name] frowned at her, already not liking her. Well, she hated people in general but people like this annoyed her to no end. The sort who changed their entire character to impress a person, much less if the behaviour was directed to people she cared about. Satoru had always been popular with girls, always thought of as a playboy when he was actually terrified of women. He was the perfect example of a whore who was actually a virgin. He always managed to play it cool though. Women always approached him, offering their bodies and hearts to him but he always declined, telling them he already had someone. For some time, it worked before desperate whores starting spurting words like "What she doesn't know won't hurt her."
