Hanami cried out in pain as the branches in her eyes were ripped off. The cloth covering her shoulder was long forgotten as it rested somewhere in the field.

This woman....... She was something else! Iguro [Name]'s strength, no matter how well described, was still an understatement to her power. No wonder her and Gojou Satoru's birth had shifted the power balance in favour of sorcerers.

Obviously, it was said only Gojou Satoru's birth did the job, but it was a mutual agreement amongst sorcerers and cursed spirits that even without him, [Name]'s strength alone would've done the trick.

This woman was eerily strong, to the point that it made Hanami, a Special grade nature spirit, fear her life. If she was going taking this much damage only thirty minutes into the fight, with all her techniques having been used and exposed while the sorceress still had some tricks up her sleeve, she would not survive. She had to escape!

She looked around frantically, trying to get as far as she could from the woman who stood at a distance, covered in Hanami's purple blood as she stalked over to the cursed spirit ever so agonizingly slowly. It was as if she was mocking her, giving her the chance to run away so she could revel in the terror she held over even Special grades. It was even worse that she hadn't even used any Shikigamis. If she had, it would've at least made Hanami feel a little better, but no.

The snake on her shoulder hissed disapprovingly at the blood coating its scaly body. [Name] looked at it and petted his head, mumbling an apology to it.

Taking this opportunity, Hanami ran from her spot and towards where Jogo had told her he would be killing Gojou Satoru. If Iguro [Name], a sorceress weaker than him could do such a number on special grades like herself, she was something to look out for. She could only fear what her coworker, Jogo was going through, having taken on the stronger among the two.

As soon as Hanami reached the spot where Jogo's face was being stepped on by the strongest sorcerer, she worked up her technique. It was one that took away their will to fight.

She planted a small bud in the field, right in front of Satoru, who stood beside Sukuna's vessel. Instantaneously, a huge garden of flowers overtook them as a flowery aura was seen around Satoru and Yuji. One of the flowers erupted into a branch and latched onto Yuji's ankle, picking him up and thrashing him around.

"AGHHHHHHH--!", the poor child screamed as Satoru contemplated whether to save Yuji or stop Hanami, who'd already picked up Jogo's head and the rest of his body and was running away.

"SENSEI! I'LL BE FINE! DON'T WORRY ABOU-" Yuji was saying but his words died down as the base of where the branch was dragging him turned into a tree monster. "DAMN! SHIT SENSEI, I LIED! SAVE ME PLEASE! HELP!!!"

Unbeknownst to all of them, [Name] had followed Hanami to exorcise her completely. She nodded at Satoru to get the cursed spirits as she took out her sword and cut the base of the branch. Just as quickly, she sheathed it as she caught Yuji in her arms to prevent him from planting face first into the ground.

Satoru went after the cursed spirits as Yuji looked at his female teacher with heart eyes. He'd never been treated like something so fragile before. So, he clung onto her even after she let go. He had crocodile tears running down his cheek as he hugged his teacher.

"Iguro Sensei!!!! I'm so sorry I doubted you before! And I'm also very sorry that I gossiped about you with Sukuna! Please forgive me, I love you!!!"

[Name] rolled her eyes at his dramatics and threw him off herself. "If you want to repay me, do it by getting stronger and taking my missions for me."

Now obviously, what she meant to say was something like 'Get stronger so you can protect yourself and others.'. But she wasn't exactly fit for that kind of stuff.

Strangely enough, the younger boy's behaviour reminded her of someone but she couldn't pin point who it was. She could only remember flashes, but knew it was a woman. Every time she tried to dwell on it, nothing but flashes of pink and light green, similar to the colour of Sakura mochi came.

There was only one thing she remembered clearly.

"Iguro-san, please......" there was a woman sobbing as she remembered herself, but as a man holding onto her tightly. This was her ancestor, Iguro Obanai.

There were scratches on his eyes so he couldn't see her for the last time. They were both gravely injured and death would be a warm embrace soon.

"If we were reborn as humans again...... Will you please make me your bride?"

He hugged her tighter, the words he'd been wishing he could hear for his whole life as a demon slayer finally were spoken to him by this beautiful woman. His heart clenched painfully when he realized she couldn't hug him back as her arms had been lost in battle.

"Of course..... If you'd be fine with someone like me."

He told her, softly kissing her forehead as he tried his best not to cry too. He could feel his life slipping through his fingers with each passing moment. Oh, how glad he was that his last moments were with her. If only they had more time......

The memory brought tears to her eyes every damn time. Almost as if she was there herself.

It was as if she had felt the pain Obanai was feeling at the moment, holding his lover and being so close yet so far away.

[Name] had researched a little. Something like this was known as repetitive memory.

She had inherited some of her ancestor's memories. These were most likely the most prominent ones, hence the reason she remembered them most often. Other memories she did have included some moments with the same woman, almost as if the rest of his life was insignificant.

[Name] was once again dragged back to reality when Satoru came back into the open and destroyed field. Yuji was still trying his best to give the woman a hug despite her attempts to shove him off. Sure, it may have been half-hearted shoves because as much as she despised to admit it, she liked affection, especially being on the receiving end, but the boy just wouldn't take no for an answer.

Satoru joined the two in an awkward type of hug in which his arms held the two squished against each other no matter how much [Name] thrashed around. His blindfold was still down, revealing his azure blue eyes as be laughed at his best friend's futile attempts to get away.

"What're you laughing at? Did you get them?"

[Name] asked, finally accepting her fate as Satoru hugged the two tighter and picked them up. She huffed in annoyance at him.

"Nope! I lost them!" he laughed.
