At the age of fifteen, [Name] had been accepted at the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, along with her best friend, Geto Suguru.
On the first day of the school, she met up with him in front of the school gates as they had decided to go together.
The mere presence of Tengen's Cursed technique was overwhelming. The brooding gates that stood, guarding the school from the eyes of the average human being and forbidding them entry. Suguru showed up a little later than the intended meet up but it was no problem. He smiled sweetly at her and said, "Should we go in, [Name]?"
The school was old-fashioned to say the least. [Name] was convinced they hadn't cleaned the property since the Heian Era. Especially since it was currently run by a Zen'in, who also happened to be a respected member of the Higher ups. The floors squeaked with every step and the dust made Suguru's allergies act up. He started coughing really hard into a tissue while [Name] attempted to calm him down, handing him water and stepping back a little to get him a little more breathing space.
A girl then came up. She was short, with short brown hair and matching eyes with a mole underneath her left eye. Introducing herself as Ieiri Shoko, the girl somehow worked her magic on Suguru and made him better. The boy behind her, whom the other two had just noticed, glared at them in suspicion. He was a tall good-looking boy with silverish white hair and azure blue eyes, half-hidden by the almost-black round glasses sitting on the tip of his nose.
"Who're you people?", the boy asked.
Thank goodness Suguru was there. If [Name] was there alone, she would've punched the boy in the face for looking so cocky and acting as if he was above everyone else. However, Suguru simply smiled at him and introduced himself. "Hello there! I'm Geto Suguru and this is Iguro [Name]. What's your name?"
"Gojo Satoru.", the boy said, bored. However, once he realized what names Suguru said, amazement shined in his eyes. Similarly, after hearing the boy's name, [Name] looked at him in surprise.
"An Iguro?"
"A Gojo?"
Their voices overlapped.
The boy leaned in closer to the slightly shorter woman and analyzed her while she leaned back, a scowl making its way into her face.
"Didn't Iguros all die a few years back?"
Shoko slapped his back from behind. "That's insensitive, Gojo. Even for you."
[Name], however, simply glared back at him challengingly. "They did. Got a problem with that?"
"Not really."
"And Gojo Clan finally managed to birth a child with both the Six Eyes and the Limitless?"
Satoru raised an eyebrow at that. "How'd you know?"
"You're quite famous, Gojo."
He smiled at that. To see a woman genuinely holding a conversation with him without falling at his feet was refreshing. It made him interested in her. "Call me Satoru."
"I'd rather not call you at all."
...
By the time they had become second years, the quartet consisting of Ieiri Shoko, Geto Suguru, Gojo Satoru and Iguro [Name] had become attached at the hip. None of them went somewhere without the others. Among them, there were no duos or trios. No one was made to feel left out. Everyone lived with equality. One day, three would gang up to bully one while another, it would be two versus two.
