One early morning, Uno and Denise were enjoying their date. Uno showing Denise his recipe, and Denise playfully swatting Uno's nose with flour.
Ever since Denise and Uno finally became a couple, they decided to hold their first date inside Uno's manor. Despite being North Heathson's top agents, they were glad that they were able to enjoy some alone time as a couple.
"So the great Agent Frost has gone soft, bet his partner in crime can now boast about making him blush!" Denise exclaimed Uno chuckling as he straightened his tie.
With Denise decorating the cookies, Uno went to grab a drink in the fridge. As he grabbed a cola, Thomas and Haley nudged on his feet.
"Thomas, Haley. Please see to it that the both of you be seated nearby." He said to the pug and cat, with the two both heading to their nearby beds.
Denise noticed this and wrapped her arms around Uno from behind, lightly staining the back of Uno's suit with flour.
"Hey, your ruining my suit. You wouldn't want me to not kiss you." Uno said playfully, earning a giggle from Denise.
Denise smiled against Uno's back, feeling the warmth of his body through his suit. "Oh, so you’re threatening me now, Mr. Frost?" she teased, her voice a soft murmur in his ear. "I think I might take that risk."Uno turned around, carefully placing the cola on the counter. He gently grabbed her flour-dusted hands, lifting them to his lips. "Well, Miss Starlight, you’ve left me no choice." His voice was low, playful, but there was a seriousness in his eyes that made Denise’s heart skip a beat.
She raised an eyebrow, her pulse quickening. "No choice? And what would that be?" she asked, her voice almost a whisper now, as the room seemed to shrink around them, leaving just the two of them in their little bubble.
Without breaking eye contact, Uno leaned down, his lips brushing hers softly at first, then with a growing intensity that made her knees weak. She melted into the kiss, forgetting everything around them – the flour, the cookies, the day’s plans. It was just him, his warmth, and the way he made her feel completely loved.
When they finally pulled away, breathless, Uno rested his forehead against hers. "I think I might need to bake with you more often," he murmured, his lips curling into a smile.
Denise chuckled, still catching her breath. "Only if you promise to clean up the mess afterwards," she replied, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Uno laughed softly. "Deal. But only if you promise to keep flouring my suits. Gives me an excuse to get closer to you."
She playfully swatted his chest. "You don’t need an excuse for that, Uno Winter." Her voice was full of affection, her smile widening as she looked up at him.
He smiled back, feeling a warmth in his chest that he hadn’t felt in a long time. "You know," he began, his tone becoming more serious, "I never thought I’d find this kind of happiness. With you, everything feels... right."
Denise’s eyes softened, and she reached up to cup his face in her hands. "You deserve this, Uno. We deserve this. I’m so glad we found each other."
Uno leaned into her touch, his heart swelling with emotion. "Me too, Denise. Me too."
They stood there for a moment, just holding each other, letting the world outside fade away. This was their moment, and nothing else mattered.
Finally, Denise broke the silence with a light laugh. "Come on, let’s finish these cookies before Thomas and Haley decide to help themselves."
Uno chuckled, giving her a quick peck on the lips before turning back to the counter. "You’re right. But after that, how about we take a walk in the garden? I hear it’s beautiful this time of day."
