As Uno and Denise were out in a mission, their kids were left in the care of Uno's cousin and senior agent, Vincent Easton, A.K.A Agent 023 - Designer.
As the day dragged on, Vincent managed to fall asleep. While Uno and Denise's kids managed to get in their parents' master bedroom. Inside, Junior went up the loft that Uno left in the master bedroom where he proceeded to play with the model railway, joey on the other hand went to sleep on the bed while Elizabeth and Victoria looked around their parents' master bedroom.
After a while, Victoria dropped a book from a nearby shelf. She read the book as North Heathson Tailors Agents, inside she found files of her parents with details about their exploits.
Victoria carefully picked up the book she’d dropped from the shelf. "Hey, Elizabeth, check this out!" she whispered, waving her sister over.
Elizabeth, curious, moved to her side, glancing at the cover. "North Heathson Tailors Agents?" she read aloud, her brow furrowing. "Wait… is this about Mum and Dad?"
Victoria flipped open the first page. "Looks like it! These are files… like, actual mission reports." Her eyes widened as she scanned through them. "Look, there's Dad’s file—'Agent 117 - Frost.'"
Elizabeth gasped, leaning closer. "Wow! It even has details about his early missions… and wait, look, there's Mum! 'Agent Starlight.' This is crazy."
The two girls sat down on the plush rug beside the bed, flipping through the book, captivated by the tales of their parents as they read aloud.
"'Mission: Arctic Raid,'" Elizabeth began, her finger tracing the page. "It says here that Mum had to defuse a bomb while Dad fought off enemy agents."
"I didn’t know Mum did stuff like that!" Victoria exclaimed. "She’s always so calm and sweet… but this makes her sound like a total action hero!"
They kept reading, fascinated by the detailed accounts of Uno and Denise’s early partnership. Victoria found a note scribbled in the margin of one page. "'Make sure to remind Agent 011 - Starlight to double-check her gear before leaving HQ,'" she read out loud. "It’s Dad’s handwriting!"
Elizabeth giggled. "Sounds just like him. Always making sure everything’s perfect."
"Yeah, but look at this," Victoria said, flipping a few more pages. "Here's a note from one of Mom’s first solo missions. Dad wrote, 'She’s ready, but she still needs to work on her stealth.'"
Elizabeth smiled. "I bet Mum was so nervous back then. Remember how she told us she used to be a little shy around Dad?"
Victoria nodded. "I wonder how they felt, being partners and everything. Especially since Mum had that huge crush on him."
Suddenly, a photograph slid out from between the pages, catching Elizabeth's eye. She picked it up and turned it around. It showed Uno and Denise behind a sleek bar. Denise was standing in front of the counter, looking a bit flustered but intrigued, while Uno, dressed in a sharp suit, stood behind her, showing her how to shake a cocktail. His hand rested gently on hers as he guided her through the motions.
Elizabeth laughed. "Is that Dad teaching Mum how to bartend?"
Victoria grinned. "It sure looks like it! I remember hearing about Dad being the head bartender at the Agency’s Swindon HQ bar."
"Yeah, but I didn’t know he was teaching Mom for a mission," Elizabeth said. "Look, the caption says, 'Swindon Manor HQ—Agent 117 - Frost teaches Agent 011 - Starlight bartending for covert ops.'"
Victoria raised an eyebrow. "Covert ops? Were they pretending to be bartenders on a mission?"
Elizabeth smiled. "Probably. You know how they always say a good spy can blend into any situation. But look at them… they look so natural together. I bet that’s when things started to get serious between them."
