December 17th now marks a full year since they both began dating, and currently Agent Frost and Agent Starlight are behind cover from heavy fire from their enemy, in the southern part of China.

With them still waiting for the others to arrive, they held each other close and hoped for the best. As the seconds ticked, Uno decided to show Denise the surprise he had been holding for over three months.

He looked at Denise tenderly before cupping her cheeks, "Denise, I fully know that right now is completely a fucked up time right now, with the fucking Untouchables raining bullets on us, but I need to do this before we get killed." He said tenderly, Denise looked into his bright blue eyes with affection.

Uno reached into his suit's pocket, and brought out a simple white box. He opended the box and revealed a magnificent diamond engagement ring, Denise stared at the ring and back into Uno's gaze.

"Denise Star, as your field handler and boyfriend, may I ask you to do this request. Will you marry me?" Denise stared at Uno before tackling him to the ground to hug him tightly.

Uno found himself flat on the ground, Denise’s arms wrapped tightly around him as bullets whizzed overhead. Despite the chaos, his heart was pounding not from the firefight, but from the overwhelming joy in Denise’s response. Her face was buried in his chest, and he could feel her trembling slightly, though whether it was from the adrenaline or the emotion, he couldn’t tell.

“Is that a yes?” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion, barely audible over the gunfire.

Denise lifted her head, her eyes shining with tears of happiness. “Yes! Of course, it’s a yes!” she exclaimed, her voice wavering but full of conviction. “I can’t believe you just did that!”

Uno grinned, his own emotions threatening to spill over. “I couldn’t wait any longer,” he admitted. “Besides, I figured we might as well go out with a bang, huh?”

Denise laughed, the sound surprisingly clear and light despite the dire situation. “You’re absolutely insane, Uno Winter. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Uno’s grin widened as he gently brushed a tear from her cheek with his thumb.

Uno's thumb brushed against Denise's cheek, his grin widening as he felt the warmth of her skin. Their moment was fleeting, however, as the harsh reality of their situation came crashing back. The gunfire was relentless, and they were still pinned down, waiting for backup.

Suddenly, through the din of the firefight, they heard the unmistakable roar of engines approaching. Uno’s eyes flicked up, catching a glimpse of the familiar armored vehicles belonging to North Heathson Tailors. A wave of relief washed over him.

"Hold on tight, love. The cavalry’s here," Uno murmured, squeezing Denise’s hand.

Just then, Lance leapt from one of the vehicles, his massive frame imposing as he charged forward with his assault rifle blazing. "You two lovebirds getting cozy down there?" he hollered over the noise, his voice booming with its usual gruffness.

"Lance, shut up and give us some cover!" Uno shot back, though he couldn’t hide the smirk on his face.

"On it, Frost!" Lance replied with a wink, positioning himself to lay down suppressing fire. The heavy rounds from his weapon echoed through the air, forcing the Untouchables to duck back behind their own cover.

"Nice timing, Kraken!" Denise called out, adjusting her position to get a better view of the battlefield.

As if on cue, Olivia Hamilton—codename Location—dropped down next to them, her sniper rifle at the ready. "Got eyes on five tangos, east corner," she reported calmly, lining up her shot. With a squeeze of the trigger, she took out two of them with pinpoint accuracy.
