Once the newly married Uno and Denise Winter returned from their honeymoon, they were met with a shower of applause from their fellow agents in their Swindon branch of North Heathson Tailors.

"Welcome home, Agent Frost and Agent Starlight. We truly missed the both of you, even if it was just a month off." Arthur said, Uno chuckled and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"No need to fret, old geezer. Your trusted agents are home now." Arthur nodded and turned to head to the underground train to take him back to their main HQ on Highworth street in North Heathson Tailors' shop's meeting room.

Denise turned to Uno and clung to his arm. "Guess, we have to begin entertaining questions now, ey?"

Uno nodded and kissed her forehead. "Yep, and I'm willing to bet that Lance and Olivia took care of Thomas and Haley."

Uno and Denise made their way through the bustling main hall, their fellow agents greeting them with smiles, handshakes, and a few cheeky remarks about their time away. The atmosphere was warm, and Denise couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging as she walked arm in arm with her husband.

"I bet everyone’s dying to hear about the honeymoon," Denise whispered, her voice laced with playful nervousness. "I didn’t think our wedding would make such a big splash."

Uno chuckled, squeezing her hand. "You know how they are. Any excuse to get us talking. But don’t worry, I’ll handle the nosy questions."

Just as they were about to step into the meeting room where their inner circle was waiting, Denise suddenly felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. She stopped in her tracks, her hand instinctively going to her stomach.

Uno immediately noticed, his brows furrowing with concern. "Denise? You alright?"

Denise nodded at first, trying to brush it off, but the feeling persisted—a strange mix of nausea and lightheadedness. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. "I… I’m fine. Just feeling a bit off, that’s all."

Uno’s eyes were filled with worry as he placed a hand on her back, gently guiding her to sit on a nearby bench. "You don’t look fine. Maybe it’s the jet lag catching up to you."

Denise shook her head, a faint smile on her lips. "I don’t think it’s jet lag… Uno, I think I might be… pregnant."

Uno’s expression shifted from worry to stunned disbelief. "Pregnant? Are you sure?"

Denise nodded slowly, her hand still resting on her stomach. "I’ve been feeling like this for the past few days, but I thought it was just the travel. I didn’t want to say anything until I was sure, but now…" Her voice trailed off, a mix of joy and anxiety flickering in her eyes.

Uno knelt in front of her, his hands gently cupping her face. "Hey, it’s okay. We’ll get you checked out and make sure everything’s alright. You should’ve told me sooner, though." His voice was soft, but the worry was evident.

Denise gave him a small, reassuring smile. "I didn’t want to ruin the honeymoon mood."

Before Uno could respond, Thomas trotted over, sniffing at Denise’s feet, his wrinkled face scrunching up as if sensing something was wrong. The pug let out a soft whine, his big, concerned eyes locked on Denise.

"Even Thomas knows something’s up," Uno said, giving the pug a gentle pat. "Don’t worry, buddy. We’ll take care of her."

Haley, Denise’s sleek black cat, soon followed, weaving between Denise’s legs before hopping up onto the bench beside her. She nuzzled against Denise’s arm, purring softly, but there was a hint of concern in her yellow eyes.
