There has never been a day in which Subaru F. Smith considered a stroll outside would be lovely, the only reason why he is enjoying one right this very moment would be because of the lovely companion he has with him.
Subaru: Say, Emilia?
The elf girl looks at him.
It had been a good fifteen minutes since the duo had last headed off into the Slums, with the vague directions given to them by the green haired man known as Kadomon, the two had endeavored to make small talk and maybe get to know each other even more.
Emilia: Yes, Subaru?
Subaru: What exactly is it you lost?
With that, the elven girl stops in her tracks.
Puck: Oh, we never told him *chuckles*
The half-elf girl turns and faces the boy.
Emilia: Subaru, I'm so sorry for not giving you a proper explanation!
She bows apologetically as Puck rubbed his fur with his arm.
Subaru places his hands in front of him, doing his best to calm her down.
Subaru: It's fine! I mean, we did just meet today and become friends just as fast so it's not your fault!
Emilia: *giggling* You really are a strange boy, Subaru.
Subaru: Boy?! I'll have you know I'm at the age of legal drinking!!
Puck: And what age would that be?
Subaru: I'm nineteen for god's sake!
Both spirit and contractor's eyes widen.
Puck: You look way younger than that...
Emilia: You definitely have the hands, but your skin is so clear... *grab*
She glances up at him.
Emilia: Hm, but your eyes show experience with hard working.
It was true Subaru used a lot of cleanser and some of Summer's oil control lotion, she used to beat his ass for using it all up, but Subaru always prided in inventing like Rick did.
He takes his hand back, embarrassed.
Subaru: W-Well, I AM an inventor... kinda.
He pulls out a... necklace? From his pocket portal within his Lab Coat, to briefly show Emilia before putting it on himself.
