Sarahi's pov"What are you going to wear?" Taju nudged Eden. They were lying on Eden's bed as they scrolled through their phones and I read a book. They were discussing a party tonight that Jaylyn was throwing. I wasn't so sure why college students loved throwing parties on random days like Monday's but it was pretty normal, I guess. A lot of people don't care about their education enough, clearly.
"Oh, my, gosh! I don't know." Eden whined, "Something sexy, of course." She wiggled her eyebrows at Taju, making her laugh.
"What are you wearing, Sarah?" Taju turned her head to me.
"I'm not going." I muttered, keeping my eyes on my book.
They both smacked their lips, "Yes you are." Eden said, "Don't do this Alessia Cara." She joked, making me crack a small smile.
I groaned, sitting up, closing my book after bookmarking it, "I'm not, though." I looked at them, "I've been dragged out with you twice last week. I'm good." I said.
Eden rolled her eyes, "But, your sister is in town." She hugged on Taju, "We have to celebrate." She said, "Andddd Paige is going to be thereeee." She cheesed, making my eyes go wide a bit.
I cleared my throat, directing my eyes over to Taju, hinting at Eden to be quiet. I'm not sure why she would say that aloud anyway.
"Wait." Taju faced me, "Who's Paige?"
"No one." I muttered.
"Sarah's girlfriend. Aka super hot Uconn basketball player who is like totally famous by the way." Eden continued to cheese.
"She's not my girlfriend." I argued.
"Soon to be?" Eden continued to tease.
I rolled my eyes, shaking my head at her.
"Wait, you're talking to someone?" Taju smiled at me, "That's great, Sarah. She must be special." She said, making me roll my eyes, "Now we definitely have to go?" She looked at Eden, nodding her head.
"Definitely." Eden agreed.
"I'm not going and I'm not talking to anybody. Get that idea out of your head." I sighed as I got up, "And aren't you like 25 anyway? Why would you be going to a college party?" I asked Taju, making her smile fade.
"Damn, Sarah." Eden said, "Don't be so harsh." She said before looking at Taju, "She's just mad because last night I caught her up reading Wattpad fanfiction. It was like 2 AM." She teased, making Taju laugh.
"Hey!" I threw the nearest teddy bear on my bed at her.
Eden got up, walking up to me, "Get ready! It's almost 5:30 and your classes ended hours ago. You got a nap in. You are not tired." She got closer and closer to my face with every sentence.
"I'm. Not. Goingggguhh!" I mocked her.
"Yes. You. Areeee." She mocked back, "You know what? I'm not playing this game with you. You're going anyway because I told Paige you would be there." She shrugged, walking back over to her bed.
My eyes went wide, "Why would you tell her that?" My mouth dropped. Paige and I haven't even talked since she dropped me back home after TopGolf. I wasn't worried about her at all and I definitely didn't want her to think that so I wasn't sure why Eden would tell her I was coming.
"Because you're coming. Duh?" Eden hit her head.
Taju laughed, "You're even funnier than I remember." She pointed at Eden.
"Right? Thanks." Eden cheesed.
I sighed, "Here we go again."
"Chop chop hoe!" Eden clapped her hands, shooing me away.
