I laid in Paige's bed, still in my work clothes. I was surprised that she didn't say anything about it considering I smelled like old croissants and coffee bean. But, like always, which I loved, she didn't mind.

"I actually promised a friend I'd hang out with him tonight." I said, making her brown eyebrows furrow.

"Who?" Paige cocked her head to the side seeming to be genuinely confused. I smiled at how interested she actually was in where—or who I was going to be hanging out with tonight. I thought that confused look she held on her face at most times was the cutest thing ever to hit this planet.

"His name is Creed—" I said, "Well, Olan—You may know him." I said.

Paige nodded, "I know who you're talking about." She said, "He's cool. But, i'm not gonna lie, he's kind of weird." She let out a laugh.

"How come?" I let out a laugh as well.

Paige smirked, shaking her head, "He keeps trying to shoot his shot with me, I guess." She said, making me remember the compliment Creed had gave Paige while we were at dining hall, "He knows I'm only into girls, right?" She laughed.

I nodded, "Yeah, but I don't think he cares." I shook my head.

"That's kind of gay." Paige got up from her bed.

I sat up, sitting criss cross applesauce on her comfortable grey comforter, "Kind of? I guess." I smiled.

"I'm tired!" Paige yawned, stretching her arms out wide as she looked at herself in her full body mirror, "Tonight me and the girls are gonna hang out. Wish you could come." She turned to look at me.

"I mean..I can."

"But, you promised your friend you would hang out with him tonight, right?" She smirked.

"Uh.." I started to get up, "I can reschedule—"

"Maybe another time." Paige continued smiling, "You're not missing anything, I promise. We'll do it again." She shrugged.

I gave her a smile, "Right. Okay."

Paige just stared at me. And smirked. She did that a lot. I wasn't sure what her reasoning was behind doing that. But, I had to admit was that I liked it. Sort of. It made me uncomfortable. But, It also made my stomach turn in ways I didn't know it could.

"Let's go, though. The girls are about to get back soon and you have to get ready to hang out with that 'friend' of yours." She straight faced me, making me smirk.

"Jealous much?" I asked.

She put her arm around me as we walked out her bedroom door, "Can't be jealous when you already mine, right?" Paige smirked down at me.

I smiled back at her as I gripped her arm that was around my shoulder, "Yeah." I bit my lip out of nervousness.
