Sarahi Castillo, a young college loner catches the eye of Uconn's star women's basketball player, Paige Bueckers. Falling for each other won't be easy or difficult. Holding onto someone despite the uncertainty and confusion in the relationship, Sara...
After a night of contemplation, Sarahi concluded that she needed a transformative approach—not exactly a plan, but an update. She aspired to undergo a makeover and finally embrace her glow-up era. Everyone had been telling her for so long that she was a few years behind. So she thought, why not?
Sarahi had got up early and contacted a few people that she knew could help. She wasn't functioning too properly due to the lack of sleep she had got the night before. She was completely denergized and surviving off of a Dunkin Donut coffee and a granola bar she stole from Eden's desk drawer.
She was as feeling a mix of excitement and determination. Today was the day she was going to reinvent herself. After leaving Dunkin, Sarahi started her day with a visit to the local salon, where she spent hours getting her hair cut, colored, and styled into a chic new look. The stylist's, Haze, a skilled hand, Goddess transformed her hair into a vibrant, modern style that made Sarahi feel like a brand new person.
Next, Sarahi headed to a few new stores that were introduced to her. She wandered through highly recommended stores, carefully selecting outfits that reflected her new sense of style. She tried on countless pieces, finally settling on a collection of clothes that made her feel confident and stylish—as so she thought. Each purchase felt like a step toward the new version of herself she was eager to embrace.
Her final stop was Sephora. She consulted with a makeup artist who helped her choose products that highlighted her best features. Sarahi ended up leaving with a bag full of cosmetics and a newfound knowledge of how to apply them. As she finally ubered home, she felt a sense of accomplishment and anticipation, ready to unveil her new look to the world.
"What the hell do you have on?" Eden looked Sarahi up and down in shock, "Matter a fact..who the hell are you? Do you have lashes on? And your hair dyed?" Her eyes could almost pop out the inside of her head.
Sarahi shrugged, "I'm just trying something different." She said, "Do I look bad?" She asked Eden in a begging tone. If anything was wrong with what she looked like, she would want Eden to tell her. She wouldn't even have to ask because Eden was always going to tell her anyway.
Eden shook her head, "No.." She stood up as she continued to examine the girl, "No, you look great it's just..different..um..for you." She gave Sarahi a smile. "How did you.."
"I asked Jhene for help. The girl from the cheerleading team?" Sarahi said, "She directed me to a hairstylist, a beauty store and some new clothing stores." She smiled, "It was my first time shopping for clothes that wasn't a thrift store." She let out a laugh, making Eden's face scrunch up.
"Wait.." Eden shook her head, "You're not doing this because of Paige, are you?" She asked, making Sarahi scrunch up her face.
"What? No, why would you even ask that?" The small girl asked.
Eden shook her head, "No reason.." She backed away, "So, have you talked to her?" She sat back down on her bed.
Sarahi sighed, ignoring her because she didn't want to have this conversation, "Should I post these pictures?" Sarahi joined Eden on her bed, showing her the phone and scrolling through the pictures, "This one's my favorite." Sarahi smiled.
"Yeah, these are cute." Eden smiled, grabbing her phone, "Post them."
"K." Sarahi smiled as she bit her lip out of nervousness. She hadn't posted pictures much. Taking pictures weren't even her thing but she actually felt really pretty right now.
