Once Pooja fell unconscious completely, Anusha got down from the car and found a few guards coming towards her. She pretended like keeping her bags in the back seat. She closed the door and looked at them.

Guard one: Security cameras are not working mam, so came to check, he said while other security started to check the surroundings and found no one suspicious, only one car was parked other than Pooja's car.

Anusha: Okay, she said.

They went from there one more time, roaming their eyes on the surroundings. After the security guards left, she breathed a sigh of relief. A few minutes later, two more men arrived and took Pooja away, while Anusha settled into Pooja's car. After ensuring that Pooja was discreetly transferred to another car without anyone noticing, Anusha started driving. Soon, another man arrived from the hospital and drove the car that Pooja was in.

Anusha arrived at Pooja's home and found Lalita on the couch, reading a magazine.

Anusha: Hi ma, she said as usual like Pooja and settled beside her, keeping her bags.

Lalita looked at her, Hi Pooja, How was the day?, she asked.

Anusha smiled widely, It's a great day, she said, thinking that she had successfully taken Pooja's place without raising any suspicion.

Lalita: Good, Seri poi refresh ayutu va na unaku sapada ethathu eduthu veikaran she said.

Anusha nodded her head and pinched Lalita's cheeks before moving towards her room.

Meanwhile, Pooja slowly opened her eyes, struggling to regain consciousness. She found herself in a simple room. She attempted to free her hands from the rope but failed. Hearing footsteps approaching, she quickly closed her eyes, pretending to still be unconscious. She felt someone tapping her cheeks, She slowly opened her eyes and found a man in 40's.

: Hi Pooja, he said, extending his hands. She glared at him.

: OOPS, Sorry un kai thaan katti irukala maranthutan, he said and removed the rope which was tied on her wrist.

Pooja: Ai yaaru da nee, she asked fiercely.

: Alright, you deserve to know who abducted you, don't you? Let me explain. I'm Varun, he said, extending his hand once more.

Pooja shot him a disgusted look, but he forcefully grabbed her hand and made her shake his.

Varun: Look, Pooja, I'm your half-brother, so you can trust me. I'm not going to harm you, he said.

Pooja looked at him, Half brother? She asked.

Varun: Yes, you're my father's daughter, he said.

Pooja gulped the lump formed in her lumps as she never heard about her father and her mother also never shared.

Pooja: I only have my mother. If he were still in this world, she would have told me. Since she hasn't, it means it's not something I need to know. So, I have no interest in learning about someone my mother doesn't want me to know, she said.

Varun: If you weren't my father's daughter, I would have killed you by now—or at least tortured you beyond hell. Now you are saved because of my hmm your, no no our father. So you should be interested to know about him right? He asked.

Pooja: Never, she said looking into his eyes without fear after hearing his threat.

Pooja: Muduncha unnoda uyir ah kapathiko. Seikarama ennoda amma anga irukarathu na ilanu kandu puduchuruvanga. Avanga kandu pidikara naal thaan unnoda kadaisi naal.
