Watching Cench ask Killian to marry him was amazing. She deserved that and so much more, and I'm glad he's learning his lessons before it's way too late. The dinner he invited me to was full of familiar faces, and seeing Killian, my aunt, and Cenchs family was refreshing. Ameena and Ant were there and it was nice to see them after a while, the last time I saw Ameena she FaceTimed me asking me to be her Matron of Honor, and outside of texting everyday we hadn't seen each other.
It was a nice time out of the house and away from my work computer, I was able to dress up for the first time in a while but as soon as I got home I enjoyed every moment of shedding my dress up skin. I showered as the first step in settling down, and poured myself a glass of wine before settling on the couch and turning on Demon Slayer. It was a comfort show and my favorite storyline has to be the Mugen Train or the Sword Smith Village, something so badass about Nezuko becoming powerful without human consumption.
Settling in with my wine and favorite show playing, I enjoy the solitude I feel. It's comforting; the silence that is. But there's a longing feeling in my chest that if I give in makes me miss Walid. Tonight at the dinner he was not in attendance but from what I eavesdropped, he's in Switzerland in therapy.
It's been going on four months with no contact, and at first it was so hard because i knew the person I saw in Egypt was not him. That was not the Walid I knew, and definitely not the Walid I met when I first met him.
I remember that day so vividly, walking into the courtyard of the large villa they rented and I was so nervous because Killian was bringing me around her people, but I've never know Killian to know people so I just trusted her lead. Walking in I felt eyes on me instantly and when my gaze met his, it gave me butterflies. It was the everything about him that was alluring and inviting, his presence was absolutely captivating and his eyes made me feel like the only person on the whole island.
