Really professional stuffy events always annoyed me. It always made me feel out of place, like the people there had their noses turned up at me even though I was probably richer than most of them. Me and the guys stuck out here, like sore thumbs, we were like these people and they saw it just like felt it.
The grand opening of the club came and went successfully, and for that exact reason we were all advised by Harry to participate in this event. His favorite motto being, 'Philanthropy sets us apart from the average criminals.'
I still couldn't bring myself to go full suit and tie, because as much as air and asthma meant to me I wanted this night to be over with. It was another fundraiser, gala, ball, whatever for the Asthma and Allergy Association. This time around we couldn't wait for 11 p.m. to hit, before we made it back to our cars and headed home. I couldn't count on Killian being awake when I got home, but it did give me an opportunity to get her some flowers at the twenty four hour flower stall near the flat.
