Tyler Owens didn't know what scared him more: riding bulls or the fact he would never ride one again. His entire career was bull riding and now he was giving it up to pursue a college degree. Meteorology had always fascinated him since he was a child, but that didn't mean he would find success with that career. Doubts and insecurities rattled around his brain, prompting him to drive around mindlessly, no desired destination, just Tyler Owens and the open road.

Only when his truck began beeping at him over his loud music, pulling him back to reality as it cried for gas, did he come to a stop. Tyler had ended up parking in front of a small bar in the small Oklahoma town of Crystal Springs. He had never visited the town or heard of the bar but he deemed it a sign from the universe. Clearly someone was telling him to have a drink.

Stormi's Bar, as the sign outside read, had a cozy atmosphere. The warm yellow lights dimly lit the inside, allowing the patrons to remain in their own world as they sought some solace with some alcohol. There were a few guests in the bar, all scattered throughout the different tables, talking quietly amongst themselves. Tyler opted to sit at the bar counter, arms crossed on the table as he waited to order his drink. His eyes wandered to all the photographs hung on walls, photos of family and tornadoes. Whoever owned this place had a history with storms, an ironic twist as Tyler hoped to make them his future.

He turned his head hearing a door swing open. The bartender had emerged from what he assumed was one of their storage rooms in the back, a german shepherd calmly following behind her as she returned to her designated spot behind the bar. "Sorry about that," she rushed out, running a hand through her long brunette hair. Her outfit consisted of a tight black short sleeved shirt and high waisted black skirt covered by her apron. She had paired an oversized jean jacket with her work uniform that fell all the way down to the bottom of her skirt. "What can I get you tonight?" She smiled softly, promising Tyler her full attention whenever he intended to order.
