As the sun slowly descends down the sky, the louder the cheers go between students in the amphitheater. The lamp posts were decorated with ribbons and hanging posters with standees, welcoming the several college athlete teams that were invited in the campus year-end party.

Most students were socializing and some were lining up in the booths and stands for snacks and drinks to buy.

With a stick of tanghulu in your hand, you and your friend Yachi, who was part of the creatives committee and was put in charge of taking pictures for their blog, was walking with you. Although you insisted that you didn't really want to go, she convinced you to go with her with just a mention of the snacks she told you she was going to buy.

Belonging from a prestigious college, the atheletes organizations did not hold back for the year-end party after earning high successes from their current running champion teams, thus, having a special day for all the students as well. Not only did they create stalls and booths, they even went as far as inviting popular singers to perform a concert live just for the students.

Now there were people everywhere. Just loud noise wherever you go.

Now that you were accompanying Yachi for quite some time now and also the fact that you've emptied her wallet as well and is prominent from the now round belly you have, you feel sleepy from the fatigue built up from when the day has started.

"I'll just be heading over to our booth real quick to tap out!" She waves at you and quickly runs away.

"Wait for me, I'll be right back! Like really quickly!" You nod at her disappearing back and walk the opposite of her direction.

Suddenly, a sweet aroma whiffs through your nose and you blink a few times. You feel the urge to follow the sweet treat you're now craving.

But before you could follow the scent, a hand reaches out to your shoulder from behind.

"Hey beautiful." A deep voice calls out and you immediately turn to look at the stranger smiling at you with his friends right behind him. They were snickering at him as he takes a step forward.

"I noticed that you were alone and I wanted to accompany you. Anywhere you would like to go?" He smirks at you but you just stare at him. You take in his appearance, his unkempt hair, tall stature, and his team varsity jacket along with another school's logo. You avert your gaze at him.

"Sorry. I'm actually waiting for someone." You clutch the strap of your shoulder bag.

He responds with a mocking laugh. "I don't believe you angel." As you take a step back, he does the same and steps forward. Trying to extend the distance between the two of you doesn't seem to be working.

The random stranger takes his chance to grasp on your wrist.

"Come on now. Why don't you spend time with me and entertain my friends and I." His friends snicker with him and you try pulling your wrist back.

"I said I'm waiting for someone. Are you deaf or something?" You glare at him and escape from his grab.

"Ah!" You point behind him and when they were startled and turned to look what you were pointing at, you take your chance to sprint away from them.

"You brat!"

And that was how you ended up in a chase with some athletes in your school campus, during a year-end party.
