Chapter 5: Fresh Start

„So Steph. Are you happy?" asked Jenna, the clearly emotional girl, who wrote a response „Yeah I am happy. Thank you, so much". After Jenna calming the poor girl down, they both went to get Steph's stuff. On the way there Jenna tried to get Steph to reveal some stuff about her personal life and interests, but no avail, as Steph continued to stay silent.

After getting her stuff and saying goodbye to Miss Thorne, the newly mother daughter duo was on their way back to the US, back home in Jenna's case, but to a whole different world for Steph.

21 hours later
Steph's PoV:

„Wake up Kiddo. We are here" I heard next to me, after having a great sleep for a few hours. „ Thanks Jenna. God that felt good" I sleepily mumble showing my voice for the first time, upon realizing I immediately stop talking and just nod as a confirmation that I heard her. „Are you excited to meet Tyler?" Jenna whispered to me politely and she smiled slightly when I gave a nod. After we both get our luggage we are off to Jenna's car and then after a short drive we arrive at Jenna's and Tyler's house. Ok... don't be a complete weirdo. You got this! I hype myself up.

„Come on Steph. Let's make your „Clikkie" dream come true. A meet up with Tyler Joseph." she said with an excited voice, and I couldn't stop smiling.

Jenna and I were walking up to the door, when Jenna suddenly stopped and said to me „ Don't be scared Tyler may not be alone right now. He was supposed to have Josh and Debby over. Are you ok with that?". I looked at her and thought about it and nodded quickly to show her that I am ok with it. After Jenna knocked on the door, it only took a few seconds to open, and then we both were immediately greeted by a joyful Tyler „Babe! You're back. And you brought Steph with you. Hello Steph." he said in an obviously excited tone of voice, to which I just smiled and held my hand out.

After he finally shook my hand and let us inside, he and Jenna gave me a quick tour around the house, including a recording studio. After the tour they showed me my room, which had nice blue painted walls and an all around cozy feeling to it. I then spotted something on the bed and I hurriedly walk over „Do you like it?" asked Tyler, when I didn't move for a few seconds, but, he lets out an audible sigh when I turn around smiling from ear to ear with my own Ned plush safely pressed against my chest, and I just began nodding my head and made the Ned nod too.

Tyler's PoV:
„Up and down, they're nodding." that's a pretty good idea for a line in a song for the new album... but where to put it. „Are you alright, Ty" Jenna asked me „Yeah I am... just thought about something. Are you really doing good Steph?" I couldn't help but ask. She gave me the thumbs up, which made me sad internally, because I wanted to hear her voice again... she has a angelic voice.
