(Flashback to middle school)
As I resolved myself to go to shiratorizawa, grey hair came to the corner of my eye. It was a guy with fluffy looking grey hair with dark tips, despite there beings loads of other players, he caught me eyes. Despite wanting to watch more Kane called me and we had to leave.
After that fateful day I saw the grey haired guy in each tournament, always catching my eye. However he soon went to high school and I finished my years of middle school in peace.
(Timeskip to Shirabu's 1st year)
I..did..it.. I got accepted to Shiratorizawa..!! All my hard work, studying, finally paid off!!
A few days after my acceptance it was my first day in Shiratorizawa. A school assembly was held to recognise us, the new 1st years. I tried finding Ushijima-san in the crowd of 2nd years but ended up finding familiar fluffy, grey hair. It was the same I guy from middle school! I didn't expect to see him again here.. I shook the thoughts out of my head and I finally found Ushijima-san. There he is!!! He's even taller then he was before. Throughout the entire assembly I tried to contain my excitement, which slowly dwindled as the day went on.
Soon enough we had to get our dorms. I went into the register and told her my name. She gave me my dorm number and keys. Once I open the dorm I find an orange haired guy already inside. He must be my roommate.. He looks over to me and nods his head. I nod back and go inside the dorm. I set my bags down and the guy starts to talk.
"So.. you're my roommate..?" The orange haired guy says.
"Yeah." I say, biting back the sarcastic response in the back of my throat.
There's silence for a while before he breaks it. "My name's Kawanishi Taichi."
"Shirabu Kenjirou." I say back. The silence returns.
"Soo.. any clubs you wanna join?" Kawanishi asks me.
"Volleyball Club."
"Same here.. got scouted by the school so yeah.."
"Then you must be really skilled." We both soon decided to get to our classes. We talked more as we got there and got closer.

Finally the volleyball tryouts are here.. Kawanishi and I soon headed to the volleyball tryouts and stood with the other 1st years. After a while the 2nd and 3rd years finally came. Ushijima-san was with the 2nd years and with him was the grey haired guy I saw during middle school. I was curious but I decided to wait for their introductions.
After welcoming us the captain soon started to introduce the starting team and as it was the grey haired's turn "Semi Eita, 2nd year starting setter."
Looks like we're rivals.
