Having a partner who can understand and support you is a true blessing. I am very thankful to God for sending Siddharth in my life. I do not have to use my brain around him. He is not just my partner, he is my best friend, my love, my pillar, my everything. All my fears vanished after he stepped into my life. I still feel shivers down my spine when I think about how his previous partner treated him. That is just disgusting.
There is something that is bothering me. Though I did not nudge further, I am curious why she said that.
"Shall we go princess?" - He asked as I nodded and sat behind.
"Baker-" _ He did not let me complete myself.
"They are ready, in the boot."
"Huh?"
"Cupcakes, right?"
"Ha" - He has made them, so it is 200 percent healthy.
"You remember?" - I asked
"Yes, I do, you got your-"
"Yep, in my bag, smaller size but the same ones she liked."
"Perfect." - Accelerator took off so did we.
We reached as Mrs. Ahuja greeted us with a smile.
There was this sudden increase in my heartbeat that caused me to slow down my steps.
"Kya hua Minne?"
[What happened Minnie?] - He asked as I tried to think why this sudden change out of nowhere.
"Huh? No, nothing, chaliye, she will be waiting" - I said and walked past him but he stopped me.
"Why did you stop? Kuch bhool rahi hai kya aap?"
[Why did you stop? Are you forgetting something?]
"Na baba, chaloo" - I pulled him with me. By the look he gave me I could very well tell he was not convinced with my answer.
We headed to her room. Mrs. Ahuja opened the door and left us to ourselves.
Siddharth slightly pushed the door open and found Sitaara sitting facing her fairy tint painted window, with her hands probably folded. She did not turn back.
This is strange.
She was so excited the last time, what happened now?
Both of us looked at each other. He took the bag and box from me.
"Aap jaaiye, Sitaara se miliye."
[You go, meet her.]
I nodded and made my way to her. I shifted my eyes around her room and saw her cupboard in a mess, all her clothes were scattered on her bed. The box we gifted her lied on the side table, bedsheets out of shape, her soft toys all over.
Something is not right. She is not moving; my footsteps are strong enough for her to move. Not a single flinch.
As I approached her, I saw her fingers shivering on the windowpane.
"Sitaara?"
She turned back. I could not bear the sight in front of me. Her tiny eyes were red, eyes bloated, signs of tears on her milky white cheeks, her small nose was red, lips trembling, her chin wobbled.
As soon as she saw me, she just looked into my eyes. No sign of any emotions. Siddharth walked to us closing the door.
"Ruhaani, aap ro kyu rahi hai bachcha?" - He asked. Thats it. Her fight to stop herself broke. Tears made their way to the south, she was shaking. Getting down from the bed she came and started hitting Sid on his legs.
