Fatima felt herself becoming anxious! Although she hadn't talked to Zac, it was hard not to feel some type of way about the news! Her phone started pinging immediately and she knew it was Maurice and Dani but chose to ignore it! The appetite she once had was slowly fading away and she found herself feeling nauseous!
Clayton, "Are you okay?"
Fatima, "Y-Yeah I'm fine!"
Clayton, "Can I ask you a question?"
Fatima, "Sure!"
Clayton, "Do you love him?"
Fatima, "What?"
Clayton, "Do you love him?"
Fatima, "Love who?"
Clayton, "I know love when I see it! The look on your face and the sorrow in your eyes told me all I needed to know!"
Fatima, "I can't say it's love but he does mean something to me! I just haven't figured out what it is yet!"
Clayton, "You sound like you're running from something! If that's the man you love or even have an ounce of love for then by his side is where you should be!"
Fatima, "It's not that easy! Things happened, we drifted apart and we definitely aren't where we used to be! Like I said he means something to me, I just don't know what, plus I'm out on a date with you!"
Clayton, "Fatima no matter how I may or may not feel about you, you are very special and you will always be my friend! There's nothing wrong with you opening up about the encounter, even if you don't want to talk to me, talk to your friends!"
Fatima smiled, "I'll keep that in mind!"
Their food came out and Fatima took the first bite but her stomach just wasn't fit for food at the moment! She did however ask for some lemon for her water and she drunk that!
Clayton, "I don't know what happened and honestly it's not my place or business but he's a lucky guy to have such a beautiful and elegant woman care about his well being! A lot of men don't have that and would kill to have that! It'll all work out in your favor!"
Fatima, "I don't know any man who would counsel a woman whom he asked out on a date about another man but that just lets me know how special you are and honestly I appreciate it because a lot of what you said, I needed to hear!"
Clayton, "You're welcome Fatima! We can be friends and that's alright by me but what I will tell you is Love like that doesn't come often, the stars are aligning and it's up to you to reach up and grab what you want! Are you ready to go?"
Fatima nodded! Her words were caught in her throat and she felt so many emotions at once! Clayton paid for their dinner and got her a carry out tray! She packed up her food and they headed back to her house!
Fatima was still deep in thought, so deep that she didn't know she was home until Clayton opened her door and helped her out!
Fatima was on the brink of tears because in two months she's met and engaged with two wonderful men! Clayton looked at Fatima and gave her a hug!
"Goodnight Fatima! I'll text you tomorrow!" *kissing her forehead*
Fatima, "Goodnight Clayton!"
She turned around and walked inside of her house, setting her alarm and going upstairs to shower! Koa was with Dani so it was easier for her to complete her hygiene routine and slide right into bed!
