LUNA
"And now, these are my storms started," I said as I ended writing the last chapter of the book that I had been writing for a long time.
One year passed by, and I finally achieved little by little as I continued to walk down the road that was waiting ahead of me. I am in my third year, taking a BSBA-Marketing Management course. After all the things that happened, I was glad that I was able to make it through.
''Hey Luna!'' Tawag ng isa kong kaklase
Agad ding ako lumingon at nakita ko si Ezekiel mula sa likuran ko.
''Oh bakit?'' I asked, nang napatingin ako bigla sa kanya.
''Lunch'' he said in a questioning tone.
''Ha? Ngayon na?'' Gulat na tanong ko na napa angat naman bigla ang tingin ko sa kanya.
''Oo, lunch na kaya. Stop doing things for now and let's eat first. You can finish them later.'' Seryosong saad niya.
''Okay.''
He gently put his hand on my waist and I was shocked by what he did, but I didn't know what to say. Oh well, why is he doing this to me? We were at school and there were lots of students upon seeing us outside. Na parang tanga na naka tulala sila habang naka tingin sa main.
''Are you okay?'' He asked, concernly.
Umiling lang ako, ''Yes okay lang,'' I answered shortly.
He also noticed the people who kept staring at us, and then when he suddenly glanced at me, he suddenly held my hand as we walked fast outside the school. As we were outside of the gate, he said, "I know you're not comfortable with those people. Don't worry, I got you."
My face heated after what he said. What did he just say?!
Oh shit. Don't easily fall by this man in front of you!
"Let's just eat," I said, seriously while glaring at him.
He nodded and we crossed together the streets going to the nearest eateries.
When we stopped by the eatery, he gestured for me to sit down first sa table namin at siya na lang mag order. It was a good thing also that fewer customers were eating here, kakaunti lang kumakain rito, bibihira lang ang mga kumakain maliban pag ako lang madalas kumakain dito.
"But I have mone-" He cut me off in my words when he said, "Shh, don't worry. It's on me." He winked. I just seriously looking at him with furrowed brows. Then after I sat down while waiting for him to order.
Minutes passed, and he already went near to our table and sat down in front of me.
"Are you good?" The first thing he asked was when he stared at me while I was busy scrolling down my phone.
"Y-yes," I answered.
And I thought he would still ask something. I was about to scroll back again when another thing popped into my mind and couldn't help to ask him why he suddenly treated me to lunch today.
