"So what now?"I asked Zuo Hang as we left the room.

"We have to get Zeyu to trust you again.I don't like him like that.It feels wrong."He replied as he stared at the night sky.

"And how do i get him to do that?"

"I don't know but we do have our next upcoming performance.I don't know what will happen but try to stay by Zeyu.He needs to see how you will risk your life for his."

I sighed.

"Can i stay with you tonight?"I asked,not meeting his eyes.

"What?"He asked looking at me.

"I want to take care of Ginger.Also i think Zeyu needs time to sort things out.I told Zhangji to try to convince him for me."

I layed on the floor,playing with Ginger when Zhu Zhixin walked in.

"What the-"He said in shock.

"Yilin,you scared me."

"Sorry..hope you don't mind..i wanted to leave Zeyu alone."

"Yeah i understand..i'm still just a bit shocked your here.Does Zuo Hang know you're here?"

"Yeah.He's the one who said i could."

"Of course he did."Zhu Zhixin said with a knowing smile.

"What does that mean?"

"Nothing."He said as he sat next to me and played with ginger.

We didn't say much after.
Zeyu's POV
"You're driving me crazy."Zhangji said as he plopped onto the bed.

"What?"

"Yilin clearly has nothing against you and was probably framed.You've seen her..if she wanted you dead,she would've killed you a long time ago."

I frowned.

Zhangji was suppose to be on my side.Why on earth is he siding with her.

"It doesn't matter.I'm not willing to risk my life for this gamble."

"Zeyu..would you listen to yourself.Who was there for you when there were gunshots?Who was there for you when you had a panic attack before your first performance?Who was there for you when you started doubting your abilities?"

I avoided eye contact with Zhangji.We all knew the answer..but i just..i still could not deal with Yilin..

"I don't know why you started doubting her.She's been there for you through and through...and has down nothing to make you not trust her.The one time a crime syndicate even suggests that she might be connected to them,you lose all trust."Zhangji continued.

"You don't get it!I've spent my life running,I've missed out on so many things.I don't want my efforts wasted all because i trusted some girl that i was not suppose to."I shouted back in anger.

I could see Zhangji's eyes softened as he sat next to me.

"Zeyu..i get it but i'll never truly understand.Right now though Yilin is worried about you and she really misses you.She didn't do anything to you and we all know she was frame.I know you know that too.We'll work this out together and if anything really goes wrong with Yilin,we would all be here for you.Either trying to protect or to save.Got it?"

I didn't even know i was breathing heavily until Zhangji placed a hand on my back and guided my breath.I could feel myself relax.

I closed my eyes and said,"okay."

I knew it was just my paranoia or maybe a gut feeling.But Zhangji was right.Yilin has done nothing wrong.

"Where's she now? Shouldn't she be in the room by now?"I asked,getting concerned.

"She's with Zuo Hang.She thought you might need space."

"Oh."I replied.

She was rather thoughtful...I got up and wore my slippers before leaving for Zuo Hang's room.

I knocked gently on the door and Zhu Zhixin opened it up.

"Yeah?Yilin's here just saying?"Zhu Zhixin whispered.

"I know..can i see her?"

"Erm.."He replied as he widened the door.

I looked into the room to see Zuo Hang sitting next to Yilin who was lying down and..crying? She was still holding onto ginger while Zuo Hang stroked her back to soothe her.

"I think i'll come back tomorrow."I said.

"Good idea."Zhu Zhixin said as he closed the door.

The walk back,i couldn't stop thinking of that scene and how vulnerable Yilin looked.I felt bad that I couldn't be there for her and i was genuinely concerned until i realised i shouldn't.

"Yilin what's wrong with you?"I mumbled as i closed the door to my room.
