The past few days passed in a blur.After keying in the new information,i was able to eliminate a few people and further investigation led to further revelations.

"D-day."Zeyu said shakily.

"Excited?"I asked.

"Terrified."He replied.

"You'll be fine Zeyu.Believe in yourself."

He didn't say much.I don't blame him.I'd be terrified too.

"If i were to be honest,I am not prepared..i am not prepared at all.If i lose,it's a team loss.I'm not ready."

"You're the last, you've got quite a while to figure it out.Let's go sit down first."

We headed to the backrooms.I took a seat beside Zeyu.

"Yilin..yilin.."someone called.

I turned to see Zuo Hang waving me outside.

"I guess i'm being borrowed."I thought.I turned to Zhangji."I'm leaving this nervous Zeyu in your hands.Can i trust you Jeremy?"

"Of course."Zhangji said."Go see you boyfriend."He said pushing me out which i lightly hitted back.

"What's so urgent that you had to drag me out?"

"Cat.."

"What?"

"Orange stray cat outside."

"Say less."I said as i sprinted out.

"Meow."

I turned and saw the little cat curled up next to the wall.

I slowly got closer to it,letting it smell me before patting him.

"Ginger."I said.

"What?"Zuo Hang asked.

"Ginger.It's name is Ginger."

"You don't even know if it's a girl or boy."

"Ginger can be used for both.It's fine."I said as i continued stroking the kittens fur.I gently picked it up and walked to Zuo Hang.

"What do we do with it?"He asked.

"Erm..well you see.."i said looking at him hopefully.

"No..no absolutely not..the rules state no monkey noises already..what makes you think they'll allow a cat."

"Please.."I said.He looked at me for a long time and then sighed.

"Fine..only if you stay in my room to make sure the kitten doesn't tear up my belongings."

I instantly lit up and hugged him.

"Thank you Zuo Hang."

I felt his tense shoulders relaxed.

"No problem.But he's out once he touches any of my soft toys."

"Okay i promise he won't.Let's go back."I said as i used my other free hand to hold Zuo Hang's.

Zuo Hang's POV
I figured out a while ago that i might be harbouring a small crush on Yilin.I also did tell myself to not act on it.But then again..when i see her,she makes my heart beat so fast.

So now here we are.She's holding my hand and all i can think of is that she's holding my hand.I don't do cute concepts but i swear she could make me do anything and i wouldn't even bat an eye.

"Oo Zuo Hang..did you cast a magical spell on Yilin?"Zeyu said.The moment we walked in,he zeroed in on our hands.

"Nah i don't think so..look at her hands."Zhu Zhixin said as he pointed at the cat.

"An old trick of the book."Tong Yukun said with a wide smile.

Chen Tianrun came over and started patting the kitten.They both started chatting over it and Yilin let go of my hand.

To say i was annoyed was an understatement but i couldn't say anything except for silently sulk in the seat next to them.

"It's time to get all of you into your outfits for the stage."A staff said as they guided us to the makeup room.

"Do i follow?"Yilin asked, clearly feeling uncomfortable.

We all took one look at her and burst into laughter.I enjoyed how uncomfortable she looked.Really different from her usual confident self.

"Yeah yeah..if you want to."Zeyu said as he tried to stop laughing.

Yilin did not look happy but did not say much as she got up to follow.She stood beside Zeyu and me.

"Are you really going to bring that cat everywhere?"Zeyu asked sounding a bit annoyed.

"Well yeah..until we get back to the dorms and i can put it in Zuo Hang's room."

Zeyu looked at me confused.

"Yeah..i said she could put it there so long as she watches over it."

Zeyu instantly understood.

"Amazing brother..amazing."Zeyu said as he pat me on the back.

When we reached the room,we quickly got pulled in different directions for our outfits and makeup.I watched as Yilin sat down to scroll through her phone.

I'm in a sad mood and i've kind of written a few chapters already.I'm quite sad..it's almost time for the announcement.I can't say goodbye to all of them oh my gosh..i wish that all 13 could debut but i kinda know who are the few that will debut..

QOTD:Who do you think is in the lineup?
AOTD:For me,i think the definite members are Zhu Zhixin,too much of an ace,Su xinhao,all rounder with talent,Zuo Hang,his stage presence is making,Zeyu,he's a vocal powerhouse and Zhangji because of his personality and connections with all of them.

I'm hoping Zhang Junhao makes it but considering his controversy in China,it's hard to say.Maybe yu yuhan would make it too? But i just really want Tianrun and Mu Zhicheng to make it.Tianruns got unique vocals and Mu Zhicheng has been trying so hard.

I'm missing them already oh my gosh..no more 12 member content.. honestly..i hope they pull a pledis and debut all of them together just like Seventeen because they're all so talented.
