Yilin's POV
The numbers weren't matching anymore.I asked for our agency's transactions from 4 years ago till last month.There was money being lost and not being recorded.

I held ginger in my hands as i continued eliminating people.It has to be one of the higher ups.. who's able to do this without any questions.

I was so intently focused that i hadn't noticed that Zuo Hang had sat next to me until he reached a hand over to stroke ginger.I looked over and saw his outfit.

He looked.. ridiculous.

"Bunny ears?"I asked incredulously.

"Don't even ask."He said.

"You looked like you got splashed with paint."

He chuckled.

"You got your jacket?"

"Yeah here."He said as he gave me the same hoodie from last time.

"Thanks."I said as i wore it and put the kitten in the hands pocket.Zuo hang saw it.

"Why?"

"It's cold in here.It'll catch a cold."

He could only sigh at my logic.

"Okay Su Xinhao,Deng jiaxin,Zhangji get ready for your performance."A staff came in and ushered them out.

"Can't believe it's happening.I'm excited."I said.

"You? Excited?Why?"Zuo Hang asked as we got up to go back to the waiting room.

"I don't know..it's the first time i get to watch all of you perform."i said happily.I took a seat next to Zeyu and Zuo Hang as the first performance opened up.

I was instantly amazed by their vocal skills.

"Do all of you sing like this?"I whispered.

"Yeah..but the group up there does focus mostly on their vocal skills except Su Xinhao..he's the versatile one."

Oh.

"Can you sing like this?"

Zuo Hang turned to me and smiled.

"I could if you want me to."

I turned just slightly red because he got closer to me.I quickly turned back to the screen just as the performance was finishing up.

"Zhu Zhixin,Zuo Hang,Zhang Junhao to the stage."

"Good luck."I said.

"Don't need it when i got skills."Zuo Hang responded as he waved goodbye to us.

"You're flirting skills are top notch that i completely believed that Zuo Hang was your boyfriend."Zeyu said,leaning over.

I didn't say anything and watched the stage intently as the lights dimmed.Zhu Zhixin started off..followed by Zhang Junhao but Zuo Hang was no where to be seen until i looked up and a shadow of a figure could be seen.Just then,a light shown illuminating Zuo Hang and he had a fiery aura and it was just so cool.It made the outfit work and now i know why the stylist chose it for him.

My eyes stayed glue to him even when others were singing.There’s something different when you watch him perform on stage..with the aura and stage presence.He looked different..really different and scary.I was captivated though from his performance like he was a completely new person to decipher.A new puzzle to unravel.He was no longer the laid back and easy guy to read.

I leaned back with a small smirk,now having a new toy to decipher.I was back in the game.

Just when the performance ended and they returned back,I walked over to them,handing Zuo Hang a bottle of water as the trainees teased him.

"Ooo someone's got a girlfriend."Zeyu teased.

He just rolled his eyes with a smile as he took my bottle.

"You were amazing up there."

"Tell me something i dont already know."He jokingly teased.

"Okay Mr full of himself."I said with a smile.

"Anyways,sit here."He said,sitting at the performing groups empty seats as we watched.I was interested but not as mesmerized as i was with Zuo Hang's performance.

Not long after they performed finish and Zeyu was up,i realised i was holding hands with Zuo Hang and immediately let go as i went to accompany Zeyu up.

Zuo Hang pouted and i just laughed.

"I'll be back..i promise."I said as i left Ginger with him.

As soon as i reached the backstage,i noticed something was off.Zeyu seemed more anxious.

"Zeyu?You good?"

"Yeah..just nervous."

I held his shoulders.

"Breathe.In and out.In and out."

He followed exactly as i said.

I smiled.

"You got this right?You've been training since forever..what is one song compared to the other millions of songs you sing."

"You're right..you're right.."Zeyu said,calming down.He gave me a small smile."Thanks."

"No problem..that'd be $50 please."I joked

He just rolled his eyes with a smile,just then a gunshot could be heard and Huangshuo was instantly startled.

"What was that?"He asked.

"I'm hoping it was just security,but it's hard to say.I'll go check it out."I said.

Just then,more shooting could be heard and screaming.

"Do your best.I'll be right behind you."I said as i turned serious.

I sprinted to the direction and just hoped it wasn't too serious.
