Barry was back from Flashpoint and a couple of days back things got worse, Barry still couldn't believe Ronnie was back alive because of Flashpoint and even being in Star Labs, Barry found it hard not to look at Caitlin. Barry bought a place for himself and his daughter and let things calm down. Barry had help from Joe with looking after Emma when he was in the city dealing with metahumans.
Barry told the team about Flashpoint but left out that Caitlin was his wife and Emma's mother plus about Frost too but he questioned if she was about. Barry is currently having coffee while watching Emma in the baby basket looking up at the ceiling and making baby noises. Barry touched her feet "I wish you were here Cait and Frost" Barry whispered to himself. Just then door knocked and he went and opened the door only to see Caitlin there with a sad look.
He didn't know what to do or say as a part of him was trying to avoid her even when he was in Star Labs he never talked to her or looked at her. Barry moves to the side and she walks in as he closes the door. Barry walks back to where he was sitting and looking at his daughter. "Barry this whole thing between us is not nice and I know this must hurt because I am not well your wife or that life in Flashpoint wasn't mine but we are friends and I miss you" Caitlin said.
Barry drinks some coffee "I know I hate it too but I am sorry it's really hard because every time I see you I want to kiss you hug you talk to you and even Frost I miss her too damn it I miss everything I know I should never go back in time but I had a wonderful life, parents, a girlfriend then wife even if I and Frost and I did go out protect the city but I had a better life than I had and you were a doctor working with my dad" Barry said with hint of sadness in his voice.
Emma heard her father's sadness and she put her arms out and cried and he went to lift her out of the basket and hold her and kissed her head. "I am here princess" Barry said and felt relaxed, Caitlin was upset "I am sorry" she told him and started walking away "are you and Ronnie married in this timeline" asked Barry "yes sorry" she whispered and left. Barry just wanted to stay with his daughter the whole day but eventually he had to go to work and listen to Julien Albert another Csi.
