I was in the courtyard hanging with Payton, Kayla, and Daimen. I kept my promise and I haven't been talking to P. I bit in to my sandwich and ate a Lay's potato chip.

"You a muthfucking joke, nigga." Payton told Daimen.

"Shut the fuck up Payton." Daimen said. Kayla was the nerdy one. Even at lunch this girl was reading a book or doing homework. I signed.

"Girl P got in love depression?" Payton asked.

"No." I snapped.

"Well to let in, Paris has been listening to sad songs and ain't gone out in a week." She told me.

"Oh." I said getting up and throwing my trash away. I saw Paris and his crew out the corner of my eye coming toward me. I hurried back. P and his crew walked up.

"What's up Passion?" P said.

I ignored him.

"Passion?" P said again.

"So you not talking to me.?" He asked. I looked up at him.

"Hey, Jalen" I waved. He waved back.

"Let's roll since she don't want to talk." He said and they walked away.

"For my birthday I'm throwing a house party at my grandma's house." Payton said. Payton's birthday was November 3rd. Payton gone be seventeen. I wasn't turning seventeen until April. The bell rang. All the kids rushed inside the building not trying to be late for class. My heels click-clacked down the hallway as I walked toward my locker. I bumped in to someone as I was walking.

"My bad ma'." I looked up and saw boy.

"I wasn't looking." I said. He was brown skin, he had plump lips, light grey eyes, and well built body. He also had tattoos going up his neck.

"Treyvon." He held his hand out. I shook it.

"Passion." I said.

"Your new here?" He asked.

"Yes." I said. I looked down.

"Baby you to pretty to be looking down." I looked up and smiled. The bell rang . Shoot! I was late.

"I guess we late." He said.

"Yea." I said.

"Lets chill in the library." He said.

"You no where the library is?" I asked. He smiled showing his white teeth.

"Yes, now can you go before we get caught." He said. We walked to the library. We walked in the library."

"You no we can't talk in here right?" I whispered.

"Unless we get I study booth." He said. We walked up to the lady at the desk. She had so much purple on she looked like Barney.

"What's up Ms. P?" He said.

"I see you late to class again Treyvon." She said.

"You know it." He said. She handed him the keys to the private study room.

"I guess you here all the time?" I asked.

"Not all the time." He said opening the door for me to go in before him. I sat in the green chair and sat my book bag on the floor.

"So, why you fuck with that drug head, Paris Jones?" He asked. I looked at him.

"How you know that?" I asked.

"That first day you came I saw you get out his car and holding his hand. I was going to say something to you but I thought you were Paris's girl." He said.

"Well I'm not and I don't fuck with him." I said.

"Oh, so in the club when you cursed him out you didn't start talking backing to him?" He asked.

"No I never talked to him after that , are you stalking me?" I said. He smiled.

"So I can take you out Friday night? I'm not stalking you." He asked.

"I would like that." I said smiling. I never been on a date so I'm nervous.

"Good." He said. The bell rang.

"I guess its time to go." He said.

"I guess so." I walked out the library.

"Bye Passion." He said. I turned around and gave him a nice big smile.

Date Night !!!

"How do I look?" I asked Payton.

"I like it." She said.

"I need you to love it not like it." I stomped back in my closet. I pulled out a black dress, black heels with spikes.

"What about this?" I asked.

"No." She said. Finally, I picked out a white tube skirt, a blush pink blouse, and nude heels. I walked out to see Payton.

"What about this?" I asked. She looked up and smiled.

"That's the one." I smiled.

"Good." I said. I sat on the couch and waited on Treyvon. My door bell rang.

"He's here." Payton said. She opened the door and Treyvon was standing there looking better than before. He had on baggy True Religion's , polo button down, and Parda shoes. His waves was straight baggin'.

"You look beautiful." He said as he hugged me.

"You look handsome." I said looking him up and down.

"I try." He said.

"You ready." He asked.

"Yes, let me get my keys, and wallet." I said.

"Baby you don't need yo wallet." He said pulling me out the door.

"Okay." I said.

"Can I hold yo' hand?" He asked.

"Not trying to be funny but let's take it slow." I said.

"Fine with me." He said and we walked out the apartment building. I smiled as we got in to his 2012 all white Malibu.

"I like yo ride." I said as I slid in to the passenger side.

"Thank you." He said. He got in to the car and he sped off. He turned up the radio and Tamar Braxton's "Love and War" was playing. I sang along. Treyvon turned it up a little. I sang louder.

"If I turn it up louder I want you to stop." He said. I laughed.

"What's funny? You can't sing." He said smiling.

"Where you taking me anyway?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." He said. Ten minutes later we pulled up to an Community Carnival. It looked like it was closed.

"It's closed." I said frowning.

"For us it's not but for other people." He said. I opened my door and got out.

"Trey I got on heels." I said.

"So." He said. He took my hand and we walked in to the carnival.

"How did you get this place just for us?" I asked.

"People old me favors." He said. We went under the Ferris wheel and there was a table with our dinner on it.

"This is beautiful." I said.

"All for you." He said.I blushed. We sat down and began to eat.

"After we eat we can play some games." He said eating his steak.

"Okay." I said.  Twenty minutes later me and Trey was playing all kinds of games. I had fun.

Tonight was one of the most craziest, fun, and a night I will never forget it. Treyvon was nice to me but I kept thinking about Paris. I was mad at Paris but when it came to him I had soft spot. Paris hurt me but I still cared about him.  I needed to talk to him.
