She looked at him in shock and surprise he is really allowing her to go even tho she needs to go to Udaipur but he doesn't have to know that right
Mr maheshwari " it's the city of your mahakal you'll love it there and it's not under the Chandravanshis so away from that family's shadow and as it's almost 500 km away from Jaipur you can use any transport you want "
?? " can i go really ??" She asked in shock to which he slightly nodded
Mr maheshwari " Everyone deserves a break plus it's still alot of time left for us to execute our next plans "
She stared at him lost in thoughts his words were gentle but his intentions and expectations were scaring her she knows from childhood all he had done was control and meauplate her but she can't do anything about it he was the only one she had
Mr maheshwari " oh come on koyal I am not that bad.......am I "
She came out of her thoughts and gave him a tight smile
?? " no-no it's just I am excited about this solo trip of mine that's all "
He nodded observing her
?? " can I go now "
Mr maheshwari " hmm "
She instantly left the room to prepare for the adventure ahead of her for which she curious , excited and nervous at the same time
Meanwhile
Vaidehi sat comfortably on her bed engrossed in her favorite novel she turned the pages her imagination transported her to the fictional world
Suddenly a wave of nausea washed over her She felt some tightness on her throat and it felt a bit difficult for her to breathe
Vaidehi closed her book confused and kept her hand on her mouth just as she felt like puking
She ran towards the bathroom her heart racing she leaned over the sink her hand still clasped over her mouth
The nausea intensified and her stomach churned she felt a cold sweat break out on her forehead and before she knew it she vomited her body shuddering She retched repeatedly her throat burning as she vomited everything she ate at breakfast
When the episode finally passed she slumped against the sink exhausted her breathing slowed and she rinsed her mouth with water
Vaidehi "What's happening to me?" she wondered She was feeling weak all of a sudden
When someone knocked on her door taking a few deep breaths she dragged herself towards the door feel really weak
She opened the door and found Yukti standing there her face dripping with excitement
Yukti " Bhabhi maa chaliye maa and dadi apka wait Kar rahe he "
Vaidehi frown Vaidehi " kyu ?? "

Yukti kept saying but it felt like a alien language to Vaidehi as she was feeling really lethargic
Yukti " ap thik ho "
Vaidehi nodded and said Vaidehi " hm tu ja meh apna huliya thik karke aati hun "
Yukti hesitated looking at Vaidehi's pale face but nodded before leaving
Vaidehi closed the door her energy dwindling she leaned against the doorframe struggling to process Yukti's words
She sat there for sometime before getting up and walked towards the dressing table she corrected herself knowing there are people waiting for her other then her family she should look like the queen
And with a deep breath she put on a smile and walked towards the big hall where everyone was waiting for her

As Vaidehi entered the grand hall conversations paused and eyes turned toward her
The jewelers and stylists greets her while bowling she smiled at them and sat beside Yukta
Dadi and yukta smiled at her Yukti points a beautiful lengha for Vaidehi who nodded while mask of composure hid her inner turmoil
She joined the gathering exchanging pleasantries and laughter while selecting the outfits
The sound of laughter chatter and clinking jewelry filled the air the aroma of traditional sweets and savory dishes wafted through the hall
As Vaidehi participated in the Karva Chauth preparations her strength began to return
As they were choosing the jewelry Vaidehi spotted Raghav lining on the door way looking at her
Vaidehi held up the emerald earrings pair her eyes met Raghav's across the room waiting for his approval her eyebrows raised in inquiry.
Raghav's expression remained neutral he looked at the earrings and then at outfit she had selected with a subtle shake of his head he conveyed his disapproval
Raghav's eyes locked onto hers and he subtly tilted his head toward a nearby jewelry display
His gaze specifically targeted a delicate diamond studded pair that complemented Vaidehi's outfit Vaidehi followed his gaze and smiled
Vaidehi " yeh ?" she mouthed Raghav nodded almost imperceptibly Yukta noticing the exchange chuckled but didn't say anything
Vaidehi " Maa yeh wala kesa "
Vaidehi asked Yukta who examined the earrings then smiled.
Yukta " it's perfect beta "
Vaidehi's eyes sparkled as she put on the diamond-studded earrings
Raghav's subtle nod and Yukti's approval reassured her choice Dadi sitting nearby nodded in agreement
Dadi "hmm bohot sundar he"
Raghav's gaze lingered on Vaidehi his expression softening the room filled with laughter and chatter as the women continued preparing for Karva Chauth
