He entered the room of her grandma. It was almost afternoon. He was still feeling headache. Maybe after effects of last night drinking. He quickly wore a t-shirt and a trouser with his messy hair he looked quite gorgeous. He knocked the door and then went in. Her grandma was sitting on a chair with a serious face.

Mitch: "Whats up girl?" In chill tone.

The door opened again it was none other than her Rose with her usual vibes. Hair tied in bun long brown dress and glasses. He never understood her obsession with dressing up like a middle age woman.Sometimes she would even smell like sweat. Ignoring him she sat on the chair.

Rose: "What grandma? I am so tired?" She was agitated.

Grandma: "Mitch sit down here."

Feeling the tension of the moment. He sat down he was wondering if she got his complaints and was now going to give him a scolding in front of her. He definitely did not want that.

Grandma: "Its been 2 years now since your graduation. What are you planning to do Mitch?"
She interrogated.

Mitch: "I was thinking if you can give me my part. I can easily leave on mortgages and rent."

Grandma: "So you want to do nothing. Other than clubbing,drinking etc? Are you dating anyone?"

Mitch: "No marriage and stuff its so lame." He answered.

Rose did not knew what it has to do with her why was she even there. She has been working for two days. Last thing she wanted was drama.

Grandma: "Rose what about you? Are you seeing someone?"

Rose: "No men are dogs!"

Grandma: "What are you thinking then?" Her anger was constantly rising.

Rose: "I am offered professorship in Europe I am planning to go there by the end of the year. That is my goal."

Grandma: "Good lord what I did to deserve this? You both are disappointments I am constantly stressed because of you. Mitch you are just wasting your life and Rose you do not have a life to begin with. You are young you know that? Anyway I have decided!"

"What?" They both shouted.

Grandma: "I want you both to marry each other and have a happy married life otherwise I will disown you both. For you Rose I know you might not care but I will suspend your doctorate so you will not be able to work."

Mitch: "What are you saying grandma?"

Rose: "Its not a joke. It's my life you cannot decide it."

Grandma: "I have arranged a date for you two tonight. Go and decide together. Now leave."

Rose: "Why him? I hate him. What about others why only us? Why are you only targeting me?" She shouted.

Mitch: "Excuse me I do not love you too. I hate girls like you too."

She eye rolled and went out. He could feel disgust and hate she had for him. It was their first interaction. He came back to his room. He did not knew what to think. He sat there for hours. Until servant knocked the door.

Servant: "Grandma is asking you to go on date!"

He nodded. For some reason he was dressing up now. He made sure to look good. As though he wanted to impress her. He did not like the fact that she looked down on him.He walk downstairs to the garage. Car was already there. She was sitting in wearing a sweatshirt and trouser with messy bun. She looked half sleepy. Arm rest was down. He sat in. She clearly made a statement that she was not interested.

Time to time he would steal peeks. She was half sleepy. She was always like this. She was either working or sleeping. She was his cousin. They had other cousin too but Rose and I was the only ones who were a mess and had baggage. Rose had two brothers while Mitch was the only one with no family. His parents died in an accident when he was five. Somehow at age seven due to his bad behaviour and threats he was sent to a boarding school. That made him a bad guy with commitment issues. A plain womaniser with nothing. For him life was yolo.He was a socialite he knew how to get people.

Meanwhile Rose was fine until eight when she was sexually harassed by one of the servants. After that she could never heal. A part of her hated men. She hated physical touch and thus never dated men. She was as pretty as a girl could be but she would never wear makeup or dress up or go out or anything. She did not had any friends. She was always studying in her room. She was now one of the best doctors in a hospital. All she wanted was to live alone somewhere peaceful and work. They both did not wanna marry one was scared of men and other was scared of commitment and relations.

He came back from boarding school two years before after that he had a good relationship with Uncle,grandma,his siblings basically everyone and she never attended anything and he never cared anyway.In a way they did not exist for each other.But now they were at this point forced to marry each other.
