Y/n P.O.V.
You woke up with a gasp of fear only to find yourself safe in your bed in Viggo's tent. You found that rather odd, being the last thing you remembered was falling into the sea.
"Morning love. You had me worried." It was Viggo.
"How- what's going on?" You mumbled in a daze. "You fell. (D/n) caught you and brought you back." "Oh." You were safe. "If you aren't too out of it, would you mind telling me what you were doing out there in the first place?" You looked down and tears began to form as you chose your words.
"I wanted to get the Dragon Eye thing back so you would trust me." You whispered, refusing to look at him. He sat down on the side of your bed silently. "Why?" "Because you don't trust me and-" "Who says I don't?" "You did."
He tilted your chin up so you would look at him as he gently whispered, "Of course I trust you, my love, if you had kept eavesdropping then you also heard the rest of what I said." "Which was?" "That you are one of the smartest, bravest, and most loyal of all my people. And that I love you enough to trust you with my personal secrets."
You felt a little embarrassed. "You should never have to doubt my trust in you." "Alright." He smiled as you looked into his eyes with the first bit of calm you had felt since before you got caught in the storm.
"Though I must say I'm impressed. What exactly was this plan that you were so confident in that you believed neither Ryker nor I would have tried it?" "I have a dragon." You both laughed.
You had never even come up with a plan.
