My name is Cat.
Catherine Keltsmith.
My name is Cat.
This is real.
I was sucked into a death vortex with Connor and Avery.
I opened my eyes.
Fun.
There's a sky.
Out of all the things to notice, I noticed the sky first.
Grass.
I touched the soft green blades.
Flowers...
Flowers everywhere. Tulips, daisies, all of that, and most disturbing of all, girls in dresses of all colors blooming out of the earth. I stared at them, each too beautiful to be true.
My name is Cat. This can't be real.
I held onto the thin strings of my sanity, clasping my hands together.
Sky. Flowers. Grass. There shouldn't be sky, flowers, or grass.
I sneezed.
Yep.
There they were.
Allergies. Fun.
You see, when Connor, Avery and I were sucked into the magical vortex of death, we were in a dormitory- a dormitory with no sky, flowers, or grass. Sure, there was a balcony, but that was it.
I groaned, rubbing my head.
Allergies. Fun.
One of the girls approached me. "Hello, there," she wisped. She had porcelain skin and my pixie-like facial shape. "Are you okay?"
She seemed genuinely concerned, so I nodded, unable to bring myself to speak quite yet. I sneezed again, and the girl stepped back a little, frowning. She quickly put a smile on again, and held out a hand. I took it gratefully and offered little help as she pulled me up. "My name is Charlotta," she announced. "And you?"
I pointed to the flowers, than my throat, hoping to get my point across.
"Oh. You can't speak?"
I shook my head vigorously, then pointed back to the flowers, then back at my throat."
"Oh! Allergies! My goodness, am I sorry. Whoops, looks like you dropped your pass!" the girl bent down to pick up a gold ticket on the ground and handed it to me. I didn't know what the hell it was, but I accepted it.
"Welcome, dear students!" a rich, sing-songy voice announced, and a beautiful blonde woman decked out in pink practically floated into the field. "I'll call roll, you raise your hands, and we'll make sure everybody here is in the right place!"
I stared at the woman. This wasn't the Headmistress. She was kinder. Prettier, definitely.
I turned to see a pink and blue castle shimmering in the sunlight.
I swiveled my head around to the other side- which was obscured by black fog. The sparkling lake glinted the color of blood on that side.
This side, the lake was sparkling blue.
I shivered, and turned back to the beautiful woman.
"Catherine Keltsmith!"
I raised my hand, sickness growing inside of me quickly as the woman acknowledged me.
But not as much as the words on the castle entrance.
School for Good Enlightenment and Enchantment.
Where am I?
And where did Royale High go?
A/N
For more information on Cat, I would go to my story Royale High, and if you want to see what happens to Avery, go to Dance of Shadows.
This story begins after One True King.
Thank you for reading this, and I hope you enjoy it further!
