I found a wedding dress place.
There's so much choice that it's physically killing me, but I know what I want.
I want a gothic wedding, dark dresses, suits, cakes, everything.
I've seen the perfect dress.
I know what I want.
The dress poofs out perfectly at the back, the front is an almost clear black lace, a black velvet snake shape runs up into a design at the corset, it hugs your waist so perfectly,
It splits just at the breast, revealing so much but covering so much at the same time.
To match, a black veil is worn on the mannequins head, it spreads out onto the floor, black roses sewn into it, scattered.
"Would I be able to try the black one on?"
The old sewstress smiles, "Oh my! Dear, that would be a delight for you to try on one of my designs! Here, let me get it for you."
Once it's on me, it's even more breathtaking.
The dress is absolutely beautiful.
I'm in love.
No one is here to give me opinions, and im glad.
I should choose my own dress for my own wedding.
Valentino is wearing a black tuxedo.
I don't know if he knows since he's been gone a day already.
The bed feels empty.
One day, I can't wait to have a kid with him.
Little Valentina, or Lorenzo, or June.
Their little faces, but hopefully.
Just hopefully,
Valentino won't force our kids into the mafia, I don't want my babies to have to see that violence.
There's nothing like that.
Anyways, from the subject of children, let's get back to wedding dress.
"What's the price?"
"Oh.. dear.. are you sure? It's a hard choice to make for your wedding dress. You only get one!"
I could get married again, actually.
"Yes, I'm sure." I smile.
"$12,989" She smirks, knowing I'll buy it.
"Christ," I mutter.
13k for a dress?
It's a bit steep, but I'll get it.This wedding has to be perfect.
It was forced in the beginning, but this isn't.
I'm glad to be able to marry someone I actually love.
Even though we are already married on paper, we aren't tied spiritually.
I want my soul to be forever intertwined with his. Every moment I spend without him, I don't know how to breathe.
I need Valentino.
