Lucy, who had carefully placed the teas on top of the table, playfully said, earning a glance from both Nana and Mrs. Galvez.
She had short hair, cat-like eyes, and an overall harmless aura, but what she'd said would make people think otherwise. That was especially true for someone like Nana, who wasn't exactly an expert at examining people.
Sure, she was always on the sidelines, observing, but how could she be so certain about reading others?
She never expected to hear such surprising twists this morning.
Nana was completely stunned by what was happening. She didn't even know where to begin the conversation after witnessing it all.
Nana didn't need to be told twice, agad niyang sinunod ang sinabi nito to ease the awkwardness.
"That, my friend, was Lucy.
It's no surprise Lucy liked him—Sebastian was just that good-looking. His dark almond eyes, straight nose, and full lips had this intensity that pulls you in.
He had this mix of playfulness and grace that you could spot right away. He handled it well, if it had been Nana, she wouldn't have known how to react.
