𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 wondered around the resort. Saying it was our third day, we were bored and wanted to look around some more. After those hours passed, we saw the bar open and went in. Saying that kids were kicked out at 9, we were safe for a few hours. When we entered, though, we saw someone already beat us there.
"Oh, look! Your boyfriend!" Marielis remarked, thinking she was funny. "He's not my boyfriend, mari.. he just appears when I go somewhere." I say, walking in and waving the bartender. There was no one inside. Only walker on his phone, marielis and me. Showing how little people knew of the bar on the 4th floor.
"Hey! It's the Y/L/N sisters! I'm guessing I'm expecting you now every day?" The bartender asked, taking a plastic cup out for the both of us. "Yep! Unless we're out at dinner, " marielis and the bartender were now in a deep conversation. But my attention was drawn to the pool table. As if it was meant to be, I slowly walked over to the pool table and inserted the 4 quarters into the side, and the pool balls were brought out. I quickly set up the balls.
I set it up with the colors like the pros do. Top of the triangle is one, red. Then the triped red next to it. Next orange two then striped so on and so forth, the eight ball in the center. As I level out the balls and remove the triangle thing, and put it back. The pool balls stay in place. Once that's done, I walk over to the pool sticks, picking out the right one for me. Which was an 18oz, and when I rolled it, it was straight, meaning it was perfect for me.
Once I get the stuff set up, I realize I don't have anyone to play with. So I take the white ball and like it up with my fingers and the pool balls in the triangle shape. I shoot as hard as I can, and all the balls separate, and none of them make it in. Saddly. "Damnit." I mumbled to myself as my eyes shot up as I saw Walker taking the blue chalk on the top of his pool stick and like himself with the white pool table ball.
"I forgot to ask, but could I play with you?" He asked, looking back at me, and I nodded. "As long as you tell me why you're here alone," I say with a smile, and he nods. He focuses for a moment and shoots, making a striped orange two go into one of the wholes. "We're playing for fun, not the real deal, right?" He asks, and I nod. Once he was done, he positioned himself and shot again. But missed.
"Soooo, you seem to really enjoy pool," he says, smiling, and I nod slightly as I move and shoot and miss. "I just started a few days ago, but I love it." I answered honestly. He nods again, and he takes his stance and shoots and misses like I did. "So why ya here? If you don't mind me asking." He looked up at me as I asked, and he smiled. "I wanted to come and see the bar, and saw it opened and came in." I nodded. "Tight, tight." I laugh softly as I recall my stick. "I almost shot without it." He huffed a little as I finished chalking it and took my stance and made my shot. Two full color pool balls made a hole. Two sepret holes, but I still count that as a win.
