𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲 I turned back around and saw Walker trailing behind. "Okay, so you won't take no as an answer." I say, sighing as I sigh and catch up to my sister as he trails behind closly. When we reached the elavater, marielis entered an empty elevator, and we entered with her. "Why are you here?" She asks, and I smile. "I didn't want you alone." She then looked at Walker. "And your boyfriend?" His face flushed a little bit as mine turned into a frown. "He's not my boyfriend. He just won't let me walk back by myself even though it only takes two minutes."
She nodded and went back onto her phone and said quietly, "Boyfriend. He's acting like your boyfriend." I just roll my eyes at her and look back at Walker. "Sorry about her." He nodded. "I don't mind -" marielis interrupted him. "Because you wanna be her boy -" I smack the back of her head. "Shut up." She laughs a little as the doors open to our floor, and we walk her to the door, and when she enters, she slams the door shut in our faces.
"So - do ya wanna go back to the bar?" He asks, and I shake my head. "Their about to close.." He nods. "You know you left your smoothie there, right?" And my eyes go wide. And I start speed walking to the elevator as he followd me. "How many siblings do you have?" He asks, and I look at him. "Just marilis." He nodded again. " Favorite thing to do?" I look back at him. "Play games, binge watch shows, read, write, or draw.." He nodded. "You?" He smiled. "Watch movies, play games, and hang out with my friends." I nod as the elevator doors open, and we go back to the bar to get my smoothie.
"On the elevator, it said there's a fair coming up soon." Walker brings up fidgeting around with his hands and then removing the movement by messing up his hair. "Yea.. and?" I say, tilting my head to the side. "Do.. you.. wanna go?" He asks, and I almost choke on my smoothie. "Sorry, my ears stopped working - uh- what did you say?" He smiles again. That goddamn smile.
"Do you wanna go? To the fair, " He clarifies. "With family - by myself - with friends - because I'm only here for vacation, you know?" He nods and says in a nervous voice, going from standing, then onto his tippy toes. "I was thinking more.. with me?" I full-on spit out my smoothie as it shoots out my nose, and he runs to the bar and grabs paper towels/tissues to help me.
"But - arnt you here with family?" I ask, and he nods. "I am, but it's mainly for some scenes we're fillming here." I nod. "So, you practicly free after filming?" He hums a positive sound in response. "Wh- why?" I ask, and he just looks taken aback and says in an uncertain voice. "Wh- why? Why? What do you mean why?" I look back at him as we walk out the bar. "It- it's nothing.." He sighs as we enter the elevator only to see leah and Aryan inside. I almost shot smoothie out my nose for the secconed time.
Once I saw them, I pushed Walker into the elevator and stood outside it. And as much as I wish the doors would slam shut, they didn't. It was slow. Too slow, in fact, as Walker gently grabbed my wrist and brought me into the elevator. But like any sane person. I stayed in the corner of the elevator. Not knowing what to do or say
"Don't look so paniced.." Walker said in a soft voice, not realizing he's still holding my wrist. I look back up at him. "I am, though - I'm nervous as hell." I say as leah and Aryan watch with confused looks.
"Sooo.. you two know eachothet? Walker never told us he knew someone here." Ayran finally spoke up, and I looked back at them. "Oh, we met here.. in this elvator.. like yesterday. Or the day before, I forgot." My words were filled with nervousness, not knowing what to do, say, look at, everything was overwhelming. "Ah- I see. Well, I'm Aryan, and this is leah!" He says with a proud smile, bringing his hand out to shake it. Not knowing what to do fully, I move my arm being held by Walker, who's on his phone and go to shake his hand.
When Walker looks up, he notices his hand and hesitantly takes it off of my wrist. Once he does, I shake ayran and Leah's hands, and when we reach floor seven, the doors open, and Walker walks out with me. "Why are you following me again?" I turn around and ask, and he just smiles. "I'm making sure you walk back to your resort room safely!" I nod to his words. "Ah, I see." I say, taking in a breath and continue walking to my resort room as I zoned out. Not realizing leah and Aryan were following us two.
When we reached the resort room, I searched my pockets, looking for my key card. "I think marilelis has the card.. I don't think she gave it back after she went inside..." I say with a sigh at the end as I bang on the door and say, "dummy. Answer the dooooor. It's your siiiiiissstterrrrr~, " I say, laughing slightly as there's no response. "Shit, man," I say, resting my head on the door. "She's either asleep or in the shower." I say with a slight laugh. "Oh, well can't you messege your parents?" Leah asks, and I jump at her words, forgetting there were two other people other than Walker following me around.
"Oh- uhm- I can, but on live360, it says their at a casino right now.. which means they'll be back soon. My mom likes to go to bed at 10 or 11." They all looked at me. Aryan smiling, leah nodding and Walker just staring at me. "I mean, I can wait here. It'll only be around a 40min-1hour. Wait, it's not too bad."
"But - we don't want you to wait here by yourself," Walker says, leaning against the wall next to the door. "I'll be fine - I'm just going to sit outside the door and wait. It's not that bad, " I saw with a smile as I leaned against the door and sat back down, and my phone pinged. And I check it to see a message, and I reply back.
