𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 hit me like a soft kiss from the morning sunshine rays. They came through the curtains that were slightly open. The warmness filled the room. It was quite cozy laying on the pull out bed. But nothing lasts forever as my sister, marielis, came sliding into the room as if she were a Rockstar.
"GOODMORNNNINGGG WORLD!!" She yelled into a hair brush. "Stfu. It's like 7am." I said, using the pillow to cover my ears from her loudness. "It's not 7am. It's 9am. You're off 2 hours." She restored with annoyance rolling her eyes. I just groaned, rolling over to the other side of the bed as she began to sing to herself, dancing around and turning on the TV.
"Soooo, did he message you last night when we came back from the resterount?" She asked, and I finally sat up to look at her. My blankets wrapped around me. "No. It's nothing big, mari. All he wants is to return my sketchbook. " she nodded and said slowly, "riiiiiighhhhtttt. " Then she went to the make shift kitchen that was in the hallway and made herself some tea.
"Yk- you could've asked him to come by and drop it off here, yk?" I just looked at her and said. "Are you slow? If anyone recognizes him and sees he's at our resort room, we could get doxxed. " she looked over at me, leaning on the counter. "Wait - does doxxing even count if it's not your house?" I just rolled my eyes and got out of bed. Was I being grumpy? No. It's called being tired! I know, amazing acting skills?
"Don't just leave!" She yells, and I sigh. "Do you want me to take a morning piss in a bottle and have it happen in front of you to continue talking? No? Ok. Let me take a piss." I say flicking off mari as I go to the bathroom. Truth be told, I didn't need to piss. I just wanted to be away from her. I know that normal bystanders ot may seem rude or if your parents see it. But to be honest, sometimes on a vacation, the only place I can be alone is the bathroom or if I'm asleep.
But when I'm done brushing my hair, teeth, and planning in my head what to wear I leave the restroom and go to my suitcase. I find a brownish flynal and a black leather jacket that I pair together with some baggy pants and a gray shirt. Saying we have really nothing planned for today aside from the arcade, today should be fun!
So as I went to go and get my clothes, I headed back to the bathroom and changed into them. Truth be told, I feel like I could do better, but it's ehh. Today just feels like an ehh day. So when I'm done, mari goes into the bathroom and changes into her outfit for the day. Which is a pair of jeans, a lace white undershirt, and a pink shirt on top with a cardigan as her jacket.
When we were done getting dressed, marielis had her hair up, while I just brushed my hair so that it was kinda poofy/curly. Once that was done, we headed to the lobby, saying they had an arcade there in one of the side areas. Our parents wanted to go to the movies, so they left to go to do some sightseeing, which marilis and I didn't wanna do. So once we were in the lobby, she looked scared.
"What?" I asked, and she just said in a whisper. "Where's the arcade? Do we have to ask someone?" I just looked her up and down and walked up to the front desk. "Where's the arcade?" I ask, and the woman smiles as she points to her left, my right and says. "Down that hallway once you see the elevators go up to the floor above, and it's at the end of that hallway." She said with a smile, and I nodded. "Thank you!" I say as I pull marilis by her wrist to the arcade.
She looked at me and laughed a little. "You handled that like a pro -" I just roll my eyes. "Well- I'm used to it." she just looked me up and down. "You? Asking someone for help? Scene when?" She says with a scoff. "I always ask for help with dorections." She nodded. "Suuureee," I just stomp into the elvator where I take a photo of my fit and marilies.
I post it without thinking, not even checking. I'm just automatically putting it back into my pocket as we reach the floor above. When we get out, a certain blond boy walks in. Once he realized that it was me, I glanced back and saw his eyes widen. I just shrugged it off and continued walking with my sister to the arcade.
When we enter the yells of little kids, the laughing of family members and the shooting sounds of arcade games willed our ears. A smile went straight onto my face as I walked over to the prize booth, which also so happened to be where you get your cards, and ask for 2 cards. One for my sister, and one for me. I hand them $50 for the both of us, giving us 100 plays individually. So once that was done, marilis went straight for the zombie game while I went to Guitar Hero.
From the songs they had, I chose 'love me or hate me' by lady sovereign. The clean version that is. And when I was playing I had so much fun. I also ofc went to the wacking game where you have to reach the bell. Some people think it's strength, but in reality, it's just skill. Or chance if the employees messed with the winning rate.
After some more time, which landed up to around an hour, we ran out of credit on the game cards. When that happened, I was getting off of one of the bike race games. Then the blond curly haired boy came up to me.
"Sorry, you looked like you still wanted to play." He said with a smile. He then got onto the rival bike and swiped the card. After about a minute, the match ended, and he was in a second place a few Milla seconds behind me. Saying I, of course, won first place.
