CH.9 - I wanna ruin our friendship

Gaege pov:

Once I pull up to Eddie's house I take a hit from my vape before getting out of my car. I slowly make my way to his house and knock on the front door. It doesn't take long until he opens the door. He pulls me into a hug before letting me inside. As I take off my shoes I noticed that I'm still in his hoodie. God, he probably thinks I'm weird for not taking it off. I also don't have a shirt on underneath so taking if off now isn't even an option. We take a seat on his couch in the living room and turn on the TV. I can feel my heart beat fast as he cuddles up next to me. He rests his head on my shoulder as the movie plays.

As the movie comes to the end I can tell that Eddie's tired. I gently shake him so he doesn't fall asleep. Before I could ask him if he wants to go to bed he asks me a question.

"Why did you agree to come here?" He looks me in the eyes

"I-i don't know..I guess I thought it would help me sleep as well." I admit

"Right, you said that you've been having trouble sleeping." He sits up and turns his whole body so that he's now facing me
"How were you planning on sleeping tonight?"

I take a deep breath before whispering
"I've been using your shirt as a pillow case." I blush

"Huh, I couldn't hear you?" He leans in closer to me, hoping that I would repeat what I just said

"Nothing." I blush even more
"We should probably go to bed."

I start to get up and he follows after me. We walk to his room and Eddie quickly crawls into bed. I slowly take a seat on top of the covers, not completely sure if he wants me to actually sleep in his bed with him. Eddie sits up and pulls me closer to him.

"Why aren't you under the covers?" He asks

"I wasn't sure if you wanted me to stay in here all night." I blush

"I wouldn't have you come all the way over here just for you to sleep in the guest room." He laughs
"Get under the covers."

I do as he says.

"Gaege..." I look up at him
"Can I kiss you?" I nod my head yes before he pulls me into a kiss

I smile as he pulls me into his lap, deepening the kiss. As we let go I watch as a smile creeps onto his face. He just looks so perfect, how could I not want him to kiss me, I just want to ruin our friendship..we should be lovers instead. I quickly shake that thought out of my head, he would never want to actually be with me. Once he finds a girl that he actually likes he'll just forget about me. I slowly get off of his lap and he instantly pulls me closer to him, resting his face in the crook of my neck.

"Remember when I told you that you should move in with me?"

I blush as his cold breath hits my neck.
"Yeah?"

"I was being honest, I wouldn't mind it if you did. And I have plenty of room for you here."

"Are you sure? I really don't want you to-" he cuts me off

"I don't want to sound selfish but I want you all to myself." After that I can hear soft snores escaping his lips

He's probably just tired..no way he actually means any of it.

Eddie's pov:

Once I wake up I quickly remember that Gaege came over last night. I smile as I realize that my arms are wrapped around his chest. I slowly start to get up, trying not to wake him but failing in the process. Once I sit up I feel his side of the bed shift. He slowly starts to get up as well.

"Morning." I smile as he stretches his arms

"Morning."

After making some breakfast we sit on the couch and watch whatever was on TV, sadly it being the news. I start to remember me talking about him moving in with me last night but him not really giving me an awnser, I guess I did fall asleep before he was able to actually process what I was saying.
