"BELLA" Isabelle's fragile form trembled as a familiar voice made her flinch. She looked back and saw Alexander. She looked at his state,  disheveled clothes and breathless.

"Bella, what the heck are you doing? Get down from there" Alexander  shouted with desperation as he reached out to her.

"Stop right there" Isabelle shouted, her voice trembling as tears streamed down her face. Alexander froze, his heart racing with dread, as he watched her inch closer to the edge. She was so close, just a whisper away from disaster.

"Please, love, don't" Alexander begged, his voice cracking with desperation. "Let's sit down, talk this through. I'll do anything, just don't do something you can't undo" He took a cautious step forward "I know you're hurt you, but I'll make it right, I swear. We can work through this, together" he spoke, his words laced with desperation

Isabelle's gaze met his, her eyes red-rimmed and pleading "T-t-they're all l-lying... You're lying too" she stammered, her voice shattering.

Alexander's face contorted in anguish. "Love, stop. You're scaring me" He took a cautious step forward, his hands outstretched in a calming gesture.

Isabelle's tears flowed like a river, her body shaking uncontrollably "Y-you don't care... Y-you never have... You only care about yourself" she whispered, her words barely audible.

Alexander's eyes widened in horror as Isabelle inched more closer to the edge "BELLA, STOP, PLEASE, DON'T DO THIS" he bellowed, his voice echoing through the air.

Alexander's face crumpled, his eyes welling up with tears. He felt helpless, his obsession with Isabelle now replaced with a deep-seated fear of losing her. Never in a million years, he thought she will take this step "I c-can't do this anymore..... I-i can't living this lie" Isabelle whispered.

Alexander's world stopped when he heard those four words. The same words.

"I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE"

"LET ME GO, PLEASE"

Those lines echoed through his mind like a haunting whisper, taking him back to the haunting moment he thought was long buried. His gaze fell, his breathing uneven, and his body trembled as if the ground beneath him had given way.

Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes, and he felt the sting of memories he wanted to forget. His vision blurred, and he sat down hard on the floor, struggling to steady himself. His heart raced with a mix of fear and desperation.

Alexander regained control, his jaw clenched in determination. He slowly lifted his gaze, and his eyes met Isabelle's fragile form, which seemed to be slipping away, and he knew he had to act.

With slow movements, Alexander rose to his feet, his legs trembling. He wiped away the tears, his eyes locking onto Isabelle's as she edged closer to the precipice. His heart screamed in silent protest.

Isabelle's eyes widened in shock as Alexander approached the edge, Alexander sat mirroring her own previous position, his feets dangling in the air. Isabelle stared at him wide eyed

"W-what are you doing?"

"Showing you that my feeling are genuine" He spoke, his voice low and husky, laced with a hint of desperation.

"I don't know what you saw, what you heard, but my feelings, love for you, they're all I have. I didn't marry you to possess you, Bella. I married you to keep you from leaving me. I didn'twanted to lose you" Alexander said, his eyes burning with an intense gaze.
